using this to shade my a/c condenser outside from direct sunlight all day...no shade from trees. can hear the difference from the way condenser is running after installing it. have had some record setting temps here in Kansas. did drape from gutter with clamps from harbor freight, then attached stakes at the base with zip ties from them also, still has very good ventilation. just not direct sun beating down on it all day I am sure my bill will reflect savings from the power company. will be able to remove in the fall and re use again next year. ... show more

This is a great screen, but one can still see through it a bit, so we purchased two (they are reasonably priced) and placed one over the other; this gives us very good privacy. The only downside is that, while the vertical side grommets align, the horizontal grommets don't. Also, the overall length wasn't consistent between the two (one was longer than the other). Grommet non-alignment is a bit quirky, but acceptable to me; this was my third purchase of these screens. Good value for a good product. Neighbors like them, too. ... show more

I liked using this. It is quick to put up and you can reposition it if needed. If it is tight at first it will relax a little after being up. This is not as permanent as slats in the fence or something else but it is a quick fix and will last a few years (I hope.)

Bought this fence cover because we have a pool and the little neighbor kids are always staring into our backyard. Couple that with the ma that sits in his truck and just stares at my daughter in the pool this was a godsend. We may end up buying a second on for double coverage but are not sure yet. This is a really long piece. I used it for several projects. One to line the backside of a wood plank fence that you could see through the spaces. This added layer to the fence keeps anyone from seeing into my backyard from the street. I cut it and singed the edges to keep it from unraveling. I used the other piece To put on top of my wood covered patio for additional shade and zip tied it to the slats of wood. I still have several feet left for another project. ... show more
