abunda_amazon_reviews Great desk perfect size for hobby or anything really. I'm a nail technician and it works great for me and a client.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2016;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great desk!;;Blace w;;;This is a great desk at a great price! I write that I might not recommend mainly because of the odd size of the cubbies. Very difficult to find storage that would fit nicely in the odd sizes! 13" x 13" storage bins are a definite "no-go" and 10" x 10" somewhat work on the back 8 cubbies but stick out about 1". The screws they sent I managed to break by hand. My husband couldn't even believe that one when I told him. The laminate was not glued down properly so had to use wood glue (which I hope holds at least for a bit) to glue it down myself. The screw locks fell out of the top and by the time I figured it out I had to pull off half the pieces to get them back in the holes are a bit too covered to put the locks in while it is together so use tape to hold them in place since those screw locks are part of the last few steps to put the side hutch on the desk. I gave it one star because it was a great size which is what I wanted but really poor quality. I bought this for my son's (which is 7). Was a great price because I worry about him being a boy and breaking things, but this is such bad quality we are going to be moving it into my office and buying him something that can be trusted a little more. If you are looking for something that is going to be babied this is it. If you need something that can stand up a little more I would suggest keep shopping.;;Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2019;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Before you start!!!!!!!!!!;;Tammy D;;;I assembled this by myself in about 100 minutes, I'm 27 years old and am pretty in tune with this sort of assembly from a lot of ikea purchases in the past. None of the pieces are overly heavy, and I would encourage NOT using glue for the little wooden peg/dowel pieces. I decided to not use the glue as a precaution in the event I made a mistake, but in further assembly steps, the little rotating cam-lock hardware for keeping the pieces together provide more than enough support for the overall item, so I think glue is really just an extra messy step to worry about. All of my wooden pieces were labeled with stickers with letters on them, the bags of hardware were likewise labeled with numbered stickers, easy peasy. I really don't understand where some people are coming from complaining that the instructions aren't clear. If you or anyone you know has ever assembled a medium-sized lego set, you should be good to go. I think there is ONE page where it doesn't explicitly say to put some longer wooden dowels through a piece, but they're the last two remaining, and the wholes are pre-drilled for them, so super sleuthing isn't exactly required. One con I will note that knocked this down to four stars is the fact that there aren't pre-drilled holes in the back of the desk for attaching the thin veneer backing pieces behind the cubby shelves. Just be aware that you're going to want a power drill with a small wood bitt to make your own starter holes to put those pieces on much easier. I huffed and puffed and fumed tediously for ten minutes to get four of the screws in unassisted before I made the trek to the garage for the drill, don't be me, be better. Overall, a good product for the price.;;Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2017;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Good amount of assembly required, but a good product overall.;;Robert Nolt
