This nightstand was as expected and I recommend it. I needed something tall, yet small. This is a nice table, good size. The color is a light butter or cream. Not white. The knobs were shiny silver. I replaced them with antique brass. That really upgraded the look of the tables. I had to take off a star on this review though because putting it together was a nightmare. There were so many pieces! The instructions were clear and they gave plenty of screws and things. BUT... the screws were in a blister pack that had melted (seriously!) and was almost impossible to open. Even after opening it, that would only let out one screw so I had to fight. Probably half the time spent putting this table together was on opening the blister pack|! And, it has a lock nut system that's hard to figure out how to use. The nuts were so cheaply made that I broke more than one putting this together. Glad they gave extras. But, at this price, it's worth the purchase. Honestly, I'd pay more if it came already (or mostly) put together. ... show more

I didn't have very high expectations for this nightstand, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I found the assembly to be a little tricky, but nothing I couldn't figure out on my own and I'm not that handy. It is super heavy and sturdy. I was hesitant about purchasing a piece of furniture you have to put together yourself. With that being said, I’m glad I made the decision to purchase two. The soft white goes perfectly with my bedroom furniture. It was easy to put together. I had help as I didn’t want to damage any of the pieces if I were to put together myself. The drawers glide very easily when you pull them out and retrieve them back. You cannot put heavy items inside the dreamers just necessities like remote controls. I have bought many tables I have to assemble, but this one is by far the best self assemble piece of furniture I have ever bought. It comes very well packaged so that all the pieces do not get scratched, protecting the paint. The screws and bits are very well labeled and packed and they send extra pieces. Best instructions and assembly I have ever encountered. Incredibly well made and heavy meaning the wood is solid. This is not a cheap flimsy piece, this is a solid heavy very attractive table. A nice size with a roomy top. I wanted a table that was 28 inches high with a roomy top and this is it. Worth what you pay for! I got the light gray color and it looks just as pictured ... show more

I am not that great with putting things together so I was skeptical when I bought these, but read the reviews and people said it was quite easy. They were right! Very detailed and step by step instructions to put together the nightstands. It only took a little amount of time to put them together, I am so happy I bought these. I’ve only assembled one (white) but my observations are as follows: The packaging was really well done. No damage on any of the pieces. Kudos to the packing engineer. The instructions were fantastic. Most of these assemble yourself items have many Lost in Translation issues, but these were clear cut and so easy a cat could put the table together (see photo of my helper). The only minor issue was I had to tweak some of the metal posts in order to get the round thing-a-majig nuts to properly tighten. The nightstand looks great in our guest room. ... show more

These accent tables were just what I was looking for to use as our night stands. I bought two and they came packaged nicely, everything was well wrapped and labeled. We had an easy time assembling and the quality is great. It’s sturdy, smooth, and doesn’t look cheap.
