2 pieces They roll just fine Spacious enough and on the lighter side just a tad. Wheels seem solid. No complaints whatsoever at a first glance. Edit: After one use, these 2 pieces did great! A couple of scratches but nothing to worry about. Easy to organize, wheel, and lift. One thing I'd change is make the zippers INSIDE plastic.
