I bought this luggage set for my mother for our summer trip. She loves the color and that the bags themselves are lightweight. My mother wound up using the checked luggage size for our 2-week trip overseas. When we checked our luggage weight at airport it was at 28 pounds. At our destination, we had to climb up and down subway stairs. By the end of day one of our trip, the suitcase handle was starting to tear. Thankfully it has not completely tore off, but that’s because I had to sew it together. Other than the handle tearing, it’s a great piece for travel.
