These are nice large towels. They have a few weird stitches but it’s ok considering they aren’t real expensive. No loose threads. The only issue is they really produce a lot of dryer lint the first few times they are washed. Like an excessive amount! They are soft and absorbent. I like the bright colors too. ... show more

Love these towels! But, as with most new towels, they are manufactured with a coating that almost repels water and causes a lot of lint. I’ve seen a lot of the reviews complaining of this issue. You MUST do this to rid the towels of the excess lint!…..BEFORE washing them, put them in the dryer and use the no-heat setting. My dryer says “Refresh”. Just a cool temperature. Run the dryer for 30-50 minutes and you’ll see the lint collecting in the trap. Empty trap after each run. I used five cycles until there was barely any lint left in the trap (See picture). And there was a lot! After that, wash the towels with a cup of white vinegar or 1/2 cup of baking soda (dissolved in warm water first) in your washer on hot water setting . **NO detergent or softener!!** Dry on medium heat. The result is lint free, absorbent, soft as clouds, Turkish cotton towels. This should be done with all new 100% cotton towels! I learned this from my mother and it’s fail proof. Please consider this before writing negative reviews. These towels are high quality, incredibly soft and absorbent. I highly recommend! ... show more

I was pleased to find a reasonably priced towel set, in the color I wanted, that was sold by a "small business," according to Amazon. The cotton is from Turkey. It's soft, absorbent, a perfect weight for me, not too heavy and did not lint excessively after being washed. The color, a turquoise, makes me think of a spa or a bathroom at a tropical resort. We followed the washing instructions of another reviewer and the towels aren't like clouds or anything but they seem very absorbant and soft-enough. Daughter loves the lavender color. I wish the towels were a little larger but they work perfectly for a 9 year old.

It soaks up water well, thick enough to not be soaking wet after drying off, and after a few washes, the threading is staying in there.
