Incredibly Plush and Absorbent – A Great Value Set! I purchased the American Soft Linen 6-Piece Set (2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths) At 600 GSM, they hit the absolute sweet spot for towel weight—they feel thick, heavy, and luxurious without taking an eternity to dry in the dryer. The 100% Turkish cotton is remarkably soft on the skin. Right out of the package, they were already quite plush, but they actually fluffed up even more after the first wash. In terms of performance, the absorbency is excellent; they soak up water instantly rather than just moving it around your skin. My only minor critique is the initial lint. Make sure to wash them by themselves the first time, as they do shed a lot of fibers in the dryer lint trap initially. However, after the second wash, the shedding stopped completely, and I haven't noticed any unravelling seams or color fading. Very thick and luxurious feel (true 600 GSM)Highly absorbent Turkish cotton. Generous sizing for the bath towels. Holds up well in the washing machine. The American Soft Linen Luxury 6 Piece Towel Set has completely exceeded my expectations! This set, which includes 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels, delivers hotel-quality luxury at a remarkably reasonable price. The first thing that caught my attention was the rich, vibrant color. The washcloths themselves are soft, absorbent, and appear to be well made. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would likely buy them again. My only complaint is the lack of quality control. Every washcloth in the set arrived with loose thread ends hanging from each end of every seam. If it had been one or two stray threads in the entire package, I wouldn't have thought much of it. However, each washcloth having thread ends sticking out where each seam started and finished, suggests the threads were never trimmed during manufacturing, and never went through quality control. This is easy enough to fix with a pair of scissors, but it's not something customers should have to do with a brand-new product. The washcloths themselves deserve 5 stars, but the lack of finishing and inspection before packaging cost them a star. ... show more

    • Luxury Towels?? Oh yeah!!!

I loved the towels when I got them! I purchased new towels for all the bathrooms in our new home - all this same style, from American Soft Linen. I had previously purchased my Luxury Towels from Sam’s Club - the Luxury Hotel towels. I decided to look for different towels this time - hopefully even better towels. I selected these towels because of the material - “600 GSM Turkish Towels have Longer Fibers, Resulting in a Smoother and more Luxurious Texture”, according to their description. I have to agree with them completely. The towels are so soft and fluffy and when I dry my face on them it feels like I’m planting it in a pile of the softest cotton! They are some of the softest, most luxurious towels I’ve ever used, compared to towels from 5-star hotels, and luxury resorts and hotels all around the world. They are the best of the best. The towels are also very absorbent. It takes a while before they really feel wet, after using them to dry off. The only negative thing I have to say about the towels is that they lint in the beginning. After washing the towels, the lint lessens each time. This is a small negative when compared to all of the positive aspects of the towels. I had some questions about the lint from the towels and some towels that we had some color loss on that caused blotching so I contact customer service at American Soft Linen. The lint is due to the type of long fiber cotton used for the towels, which also makes them so soft. The color loss was something we used that they didn’t like and I’m not sure what it was, but the way their customer service team handled it was impressive. They responded quickly and gave me suggestions of what could have caused the color loss. Then they sent me some new towels to replace the ones we lost due to the color loss. The total time from their response to when we received the towels was just over a week! They showed me that they are interested in long-term customers and are willing to spend a little money to secure long-term customers, if needed. They definitely have a long-term customer in me now! If you want to know if I would buy from them again or recommend them to my best friend, the answer is easy - absolutely YES on both accounts! I want to make sure that you also know that I wasn’t paid for this review and didn’t receive anything from American Soft Linen to provide a good review. This was just my opinion. ... show more

These are SUPER PURPLE. The color is lovely and extra bright. Normally not something I would complain about, but they look a bit darker in the photo. They are plush and soft and a great value for the money.

These seem like a decent set of towels, especially if you get the "sale" price. I got dark gray, and they don't seem to have any issues losing color or shedding a bunch of lint (granted I've only washed them a couple times). In my very short ownership, one of the bath towels started losing stitching on the edge, but I contacted the company with a photo and proof of purchase and they kindly and quickly sent a replacement towel. The towels are plush enough and dry well. I do wish the bath towels were a few inches longer, but that's just preference. They do the job. Understand these are "Turkish cotton" towels. Based on some research and experience, Turkish towels will not be super thick but will absorb water and dry relatively quickly. If you want super thick towels, go with Egyptian cotton. I bought some Egyptian cotton towels around the same time as these. While they are thicker and seemingly more luxurious, they do shed lint, don't absorb water well, and are almost too thick. Could just be the brand I got, but honestly I'd probably buy these American Soft Linen towels again over the other ones I got. ... show more
