I purchased an american flag and received an american flag. It waves in the wind as an american flag should. This is just as good a quality as any other I have purchased. In the end, they all start to tear overtime so I'm not expecting this one to last any longer than any of my previous ones. I'd say 6 months is pretty standard. Everything else is fine. It is my own fault for ordering too large of a flag. We like to keep a flag attached to the side of the house. The wind swept up this large size so much that it ripped the pole off of the house. I’m also not fond of the fact that there isn’t a sleeve on the end to put the pole through. We had to use a janky zip tie to secure one end to the pole, so it kind of sags too. ... show more

The flag looked great when it was put up! It was bright and beautiful and the neighbors actually complimented us on it. It would snap in the wind and I was so proud of it. This flag is a nice heavy weight and well made. This is the second one we’ve had, replacing it due to color fade but that’s over a long period of time and we’re in Southern California so it is up almost everyday getting lots of sun. Other than the color it shows no wear and tear at all and I’m sure when this one fades we will replace with the same one again. ... show more

I installed this flag in April, 2023. It is now August, 2023 and the flag is already ripping to shreds on the end. This is the soonest I have ever had to replace a flag. Most of my flags from other manufacturers have lasted at least 12 months or longer. I live in Florida and it is very windy but there is no excuse for this. EDIT: Vipper saw my review and was very responsive to my situation. They offered a replacement or refund. I was totally impressed with the timely manner and genuine concern they exhibited. Therefore, based on customer service, I am changing my rating from a 1-star to a 4-star. There is a lot to be said for a company that stands behind their products.
