My looper thread breaks when I use the coverstitch on my Babylock Accolade when I use regular thread so I took a chance on this thread, and it takes considerable force for it to break. It stretches well enough, and perfect on the bras I've made, but didn't stretch enough for a leg opening on leggings (I had to break it so I didn't cut off my circulation) so I may need to stretch the hem a bit while sewing on that application. I was sewing very stretchy knits. This thread worked fine. It is just not as stretchy or as full as Wooly Nylon. If I were doing rolled hems on napkins, etc. I think I would prefer Wooly Nylon. But the MaxiLock was easy to work with.

Maybe its just me but no matter how I wound it, it jammed my machine and constantly unwound itself. That aside its not good quality thread either and the stretch is minimal but its decent for hand sewing or little fixes but I wouldn't buy it again. I wanted to be able to leave a good review like the rest but I feel kinda tricked by them. ... show more
