I was very pleasantly surprised to see that this product is not only from a veteran-owned company, but union made. I use this product every day at work to hold a tape at ready access, and often for drills/drivers on the weekends. I haven't once — in the literally thousands of times I've attached or detached a tool from this — had a single problem or even annoyance. It is well-crafted by union workers in the United States and is developing a wonderful patina of wear. It's already outlasted one cheap measuring tape and looks to be making a run for outlasting my belt. One thing to note, I generally open up wire-type belt clips on tools — Milwaukee tapes, e.g. — with a flathead to slide a bit more readily on and off this product. It's a personal preference sacrificing some retention for ease of use, and wholly unnecessary for stamped sheet metal belt clips. ... show more

I've tried all the different clips in order to keep a tape on my hip at work. I've tried the plastic ones, metal ones, and other leather ones similar to this but this one is the very best. Perfect length, perfect width, perfect materials, perfect clip, just all around perfect. I keep it on my belt all day everyday and don't even notice it when sitting, standing, kneeling, driving, etc. I even bought a backup. 10/10 ... show more

I’m a union plumber who works heavy commercial work, I use a 30’ Fatmax was tired of the heavy tape measure pulling on my pants and eventually tearing my side pocket, this tape measure holder has changed the game, doesn’t pull on my belt and is easy to take off and reconnect, quality is great plus it’s made here in the United States supporting our own workers, I highly recommend this to other construction workers ... show more
