  • Perfect fit and sharp blades
Size: 9 Color: White
My daughter liked these skates, they are very comfortable and blades are sharp, easy to skate. It has blade cover but those are not really good, it’s ok kind of blade covers.

  • Great value for casual skaters
Size: 10 Color: White
Look - if you’re planning to be an Olympic figure skater, these probably aren’t for you. But if you are like me and you go ice skating a few times each winter, it’s 100% worth it to invest in your own skates vs continuing to pay for rental skates that have been worn by a million other people. These are great skates for the price. They are comfortable once your break them in and they’re solidly constructed. You will need to get the blades sharpened after the first skate or two - they do come factory sharpened but it’s not great, especially if you are skating on public skating rinks where the ice is chopped up pretty fast. But if you’re not skating a ton, you won’t need them sharpened that often. Overall, would definitely recommend. I’ve had so much more fun bringing my own skates to rinks and it’ll ultimately save me money in rental fees in the end. ... show more

  • Bought used
Size: 6 Color: White
Decent looking skate. Have not worn them yet, but I feel like they'll be fine. I understand I purchased "used" skates, but to receive them covered in pet hair was disgusting. Will have to clean them up before using them.

  • Well Made and Nice Looking Skate for the Price
Size: 7 Color: White
This review is difficult for me to write but will try to concentrate on what people would want to know about the skate itself. It is as the title indicates. I also took them to be sharpened at Dick's Sporting Goods for $5.00 (seems to be the going rate where I am). So, when the day came when we could all get together and go skating at a popular outdoor rink for all ages... mainly part time skaters not really into serious skating... I was feeling somewhat nostalgic and [obviously overconfidant]. I had taken ice skating lessons when I was somewhere around 11 -12 years old. Nothing fancy, although was able to easily skate backwards, do simple spins, lets's just say several decades ago. So, I do no blame the skates at all for the fact that besides never having been on an outdoor rink before, I didn't even make it around one time before I fell and broke my leg. So..... I really can only recommend that if you're not at least a RECENT somewhat experienced skater - I don't mean a fancy ice dancer or anything like that - just that you're used to the feel of the ice under your skate... Please start out SLOW, stay close to the edge... and be careful. Other than that snag, I think they seem like they would have been great fun and a good value for the money. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I really didn't have a chance to properly try them out. ... show more

  • Excellent buy
Size: 9 Color: White
Excellent value for money. I read a lot of reviews before I bought these and they were highly recommended for beginners - as an absolute beginner myself I cannot agree more. They are comfortable, supportive and of course they look great. Initially the tongue is pretty hard and inflexible but with regular use it softens up nicely. ... show more

  • Between sizes+ thick socks= size up, want tight fit=sz down..
Size: 8 Color: White
I'm us sz 8.5-9, and I ordered 8. I also got very confused with the size as it says us 8(which is smaller than my normal sz) but europe size as 39-40(which should be equivalent to us 9-9.5). For me it worked out, i feel there is barely any room at toe but the size is not as small as hurting me. I tried it at home with my normal socks and it worked which is enough for me - i don't like wearing thick socks. Also I hate when I rent sz 9 skate and my feets move in the shoes, so a bit tight fit worked out well for me. If you are in between size and thick socks fan then go sz up. The shoe feels stiff and you really need to tight the strings to save your ankle. Haven't tried it yet on the ice but I am excited! ... show more

  • Better than expected
Size: 8 Color: White
Ordered these "used-good condition" They are pristine. Not a smudge. I dont think they have seen ice time let alone worn. They laced up well and fit great! Cant wait to get back on the ice.

  • WAY better than rental skates!
Size: 9 Color: White
These skates are great for the price! I wear a size 9-9.5 shoe and ordered a size 9. These skates fit fine with tights, didn't try with stockings. I'm a beginner ice skater and these were excellent for me. They are fairly stiff in the ankle - but in a good way - you don't want to roll your ankle. One of the biggest problems that I remember with having rental skates in the past is that my feet turned inward, in these skates my feet were straight and in the right position (i.e., skating directly on the blade, instead of the side). Can't say whether that was due to the skates or my technique, but these were FAR better than any rental skates I've used. They're pretty comfy, I may add an insole for extra comfort. All in all these are excellent skates. I took them to a skate shop and had them sharpened before I skated with them (about thirty bucks, but it was a pro shop and it seemed like they did a good job and it was worth the money!). Not sure if that was necessary, but a friend who is a serious skater said that you should always get your skates sharpened if they're brand new. (The guy at the skate shop said so, too.) Remember to buy skate guards and to completely dry off your blades! ... show more
