Shipped in box, on time and in excellent condition. I wear a 10 trainer and the size 10 skate fit good. The skates are stiff and require breaking in, as expected. I took off one star because they didn't come as sharp as I would have liked. I tried them at an outdoor rink right out of the box and the edge did not have that crisp shhhh that comes from a sharp blade. After a few times around, I felt good balance and confidence in these skates. After I get them sharpened, I think they will be good value for the price and will use these for casual skating for many years to come. If you don't already have guards be sure to get a pair. I gave my old skates away with the guards and didn't think about adding them on to the order. ... show more

I am a skater and I would not have bought these for skating. They are not skating quality. However they are decorating holiday and are absolutely wonderful for that purpose.

These are perfect. They fit well and were ready to use right out of the box. We did the hair dryer trick to soften them a bit and they are now very comfortable.

    • These skates don’t hold up more then a couple uses

Turns out after using three times for three 30 minute skating lessons these skates have to be thrown away. They lost all shape and have no more support due to poor quality. The skate coach warned me that this would happen with a cheap pair. And from day one the tongue would not stay up more then a few minutes. The coach has to waste 5 minutes of each lesson fixing the skates, after 15 minutes they’re too uncomfortable and need to be relaced and fixed up to last another 15 minutes. ... show more

Christmas present for my girlfriend. Exactly what she wanted. Inexpensive, but solid and functional. Just right for us to go skating a half dozen times per winter. Yes you will need to sharpen them. That's an expected part of buying new skates.

i’m a size 7-7 1/2, i ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly. definitely need to wear thick socks with these as, there’s not much warm lining in the skates. perfect for beginners!
