When you get right down to it, my wants from a shirt are simple: 1. Fit properly 2. Be comfortable. The closer to silky-smooth the better. 3. Look nice amongst the rest of my mostly grey/dark grey wardrobe. The material with these is pleasantly unusual; some stretch, but not a ton. This is the ultimate shirt for someone like me who abhors scratchy cotton shirts, or the sometimes worse dual-blend materials you find in others. It feels smooth, soft, and generally is perfect if what you're mainly looking for is something to line the gap between your skin and a jacket this time of year. It also looks nicer than a lot of similar shirts where there are sometimes clear distinctions between the threads of different material, which also contributes to their scratchiness. These? These are actually pretty decent shirts for the money. I got these to sleep in and to bum around the house on the weekends. They're soft and actually fit well with a decent sleeve length. Of course anything is better than those garbage Gildan shirts that every band and brand uses with the boxy cut and tiny cap sleeves that look like you're wearing a womens shirt. I'm docking one star because the shirts aren't quite as dark as they look in the pictures. They're more of a sage than an olive. I'm sure this is because they're tri-blend. If you've ever bought a "black" tri-blend shirt, they're really more of a charcoal grey, than a true black, so apply that same rule to these regardless of color. ... show more

These used to be so great, much softer and maybe thinner. Now the feel not as nice and stiff. They changed. Still better than normal tees, but not great.
