This was a pleasant surprise! Told my friends & family about these drapes. Not "cheesy" at all--& I am picky. Using this as a 3rd drape (with sheer immediately in front of these & regular drape in front of sheer). However, these can stand on their own as they are not see through at all (even with all lights on inside at night), & during day keep out harsh sunlight but with a low key glow to make view look real. My window looks out at the wall of our shop- not a great view at all. I bought these not to block light, but to improve the view, and they did! The material is very soft, and blocks the light well. These are really pretty. They’re a good thickness, not too thin or light. My only issue is that they’re made of silky material, so they’re shiny. My husband jokes that they look like I made them out of a silk robe. Other than that I love them!

    • The best Christmas decoration I think I have ever made.
