    • Lovely watercolor affect--but really, satin?

Gorgeous! Just came today, a good 4-5 weeks early. Yeah! Have not yet hung them, or ironed them, & they do need to be ironed. (So, I'll come back here later.) Beautiful colors, very true to product image (at least on my screen). Just as sheer as stated: medium. Just like I wanted: I want privacy after dark, but I want some light shining thru on a bright day where direct sunlight would be glaring in my eyes. The colors are significantly different with light coming from behind. A little "washed out", which makes them more like a water color, in a way. If you're picky about these things, you may not like having 2-tone curtains where the fabric goes beyond the glass (e.g. over the window frame or wall). That will be hard to avoid, especially at the top: that orange daisy spreads on up into the 4" placquard for your drapery hardware. It is made out of something soft & silky, with the backing that satin & sateen have. So it does have more weight to it than I expected. The problem is the puckering on the side & bottom hems. We'll see how it looks after ironing, though I am worried about it, given this type of fabric. I've never put anything satiny in a kitchen before; it seems unecessary--but that's me. ... show more

These are beautiful curtains. I hung them on a kitchen door window and a window over my sink. They bring lots of cheery colors into a plain kitchen. I was afraid they would block out all of the daylight but that isn’t the case. The light coming through really brings beauty into the room. Wonderful good quality fabric as well. These curtains are awful. Way shinier than in the photo and the barcode is like stamped on the fabric so you can see it through the curtain when it is hanging up? Bizarre.

These curtains were a cute design but the skulls were printed so big like really wide so they looked weird on my short window. The length and width were fine though. They are kind of a shiny slippery fabric. Not super high quality but a good design, lots to choose from and not speedy.
