Purchased hoping it would connect my ZWO AS1294MC Pro telescope camera which needs the USB 3.0b end to the powered USB 3.0 hub that I use. Happy to find that the cable worked perfectly. I was initially worried it didn't work but I think the catastrophic failure of the previous cord confused some things. I checked it out with a direct connection from the camera to the laptop and found that it was the laptop / driver / connection that was confused and not the cable. Cable is round but flexible enough that it does the same job as the prior flat cable and length works fine. Nice quick fix! ... show more

Can confirm it works with the Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500. I bought a 2nd used ix500 for use at the in-laws out-of-state on eBay but it didn't have the USB cable. I had a particular issue that popped up on Reddit that's worthy of mention: if you encounter a VERTICAL blue plastic tab inside the port that prevents insertion of the USB-B 3.0 cable end, you didn't order the wrong cable. The FIX: Grab some tweezers, unplug the device, and pull out that tiny blue tab. Now rotate it so it's horizontal and CAREFULLY re-insert it so it aligns with the 4 internal contact pins along the 4 grooves on the outside of the tab. For those of you who remember old 3.5" internal hard drives - the tab is like the little jumper pin connector (for Master/Slave/etc.) but instead of 2 pins there's 4 here. Good luck! ... show more

This Ian cable is solid and suitable, with a thick gauge of wire and a useful. It was easy to install in my setup to link my docking station to the hub in my monitor, allowing for great connection and charging speeds. It fits well and is quite useful.
