I bought these so the grandkids could paint them for an uncle who will soon be having surgery. When they arrived I was amazed at the quality. They are soft and substantial and the color is lovely. I've washed them and they came out smooth and even softer with minimal wrinkles.

I took a chance because it said 100% cotton and the 400 tc was a plus. The price is good, too. I boought the beige and smoke blue and the colors are as shown in the product description. I purchased these to use to cover extra pillows on made up bed as I can no longer get additional shams to match the comforter. They were silky out of the package and I had to double check if actually cotton and not microfiber. They washed up well, got more soft but not flimsy soft. I dried on medium so there were minimal wrinkles. If I had not already stocked up on pillowcases from the Company Store, I would definitely buy more of these. ... show more

I liked the variety of colors. Not quite as soft as I would like, but after a few washings it did soften up a bit.

I purchased these pillow cases for my extra pillows. I love them! They are 400 thread count and were soft right out of package. I’ve been looking sheets like these pillow cases but can’t find them. That’s disappointing.

    • My fault; don't like weird "sateen" finish
I think it should have been noted more clearly that the material is not regular cotton sheet/pillowcase material but has some sort of "sateen" finish that is just not comfortable, to me at least.

    • Soft cotton feels great to sensitive skin, doesn't have inner closure
These are so soft, it feels great to the skin. I have sensitive skin and these cotton sateen pillows are perfect. They also have a nice sheen to them with stripes on tbe side giving my bed pillows a royal elegant look. The down side of these are that they don't have an extra casing or zipper to enclose the pillow inside (wide pillow can stick out) so I might have to give it in to bend material and sew snaps or something to close it with. However, the pretty stripes will not be seen then. What a pity. I still love them though. The slight manufacturers smell when opening the pkg disappeared within the hour and I was able to use them right away without even washing them ... show more
