I've tried probably 8–10 different brands of virgin coconut oil over the years (Nutiva, LouAna, Viva Naturals, store brands, etc.), and this Amazon Grocery Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (15 fl oz) is hands-down my favorite I've ever used — and I've been buying it nonstop for over a year now. First, the quality is excellent. It's USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, which gives me real peace of mind. The oil has that beautiful, fresh, sweet coconut aroma — not artificial or rancid like some cheaper ones I've gotten. When you open the jar, you get that lovely natural coconut scent that actually smells clean and appetizing, like you're about to make something tropical and delicious. Taste & cooking performance — phenomenal. It has a rich, genuine coconut flavor without being overpowering. I use it for: Sautéing vegetables (amazing with stir-fries and roasted veggies) Baking (substitute for butter in muffins, cookies, cakes — adds wonderful moisture and subtle coconut notes) Frying eggs or making popcorn on the stove Bulletproof-style coffee in the morning Oil pulling (it doesn't leave a weird aftertaste) It melts super easily, has a nice smooth texture, and holds up well at medium-high heat without smoking too quickly. No burnt or off flavors ever. Versatility beyond cooking — this is where it really shines compared to many competitors. Skincare: I rub a tiny bit on dry patches, elbows, cuticles, and especially my feet at night — wakes up super soft and never greasy if you use sparingly. Hair: Works great as a pre-shampoo mask for dry ends or frizz control. Baby/kids: Safe enough that I've used it on my toddler's cradle cap and dry cheeks — gentle, no irritation. Even my dog's dry nose and paws get a little dab in winter and it helps tremendously. Value is ridiculous for this quality. At around $7–8 for 15 oz (even cheaper with Subscribe & Save), it's consistently one of the best-priced organic virgin coconut oils on Amazon, and it beats most name brands that cost 50–100% more for the same size. The jar is a good sturdy size — lasts our household 2–3 months with regular use. Packaging note: It used to be under the Happy Belly or Amazon Fresh label, but now it's Amazon Grocery. Same exact product inside, just new branding. The jar arrives well-sealed, no leaks, no dents. Bottom line: If you're looking for a clean, tasty, multi-purpose organic coconut oil that doesn't break the bank, stop searching. This is the one. I've recommended it to so many friends and family — everyone who tries it ends up switching to it too. Highly recommend — easily 5 stars and a permanent spot in my pantry (and bathroom cabinet).
