I'm very impressed so far! While I try not to wear too many synthetics, I made the exception for these shirts and I'm glad I did. They're flattering, not at all transparent, and they wash well (given, I've only washed them once at the time of this review). I'm tall, so the sleeves come a bit short, but I don't mind. I often end up rolling my sleeves up anyway. Nice for layering. There's some good stretch to them and I feel that they're not too low-cut. Modesty is important to me, and the cute ruching detail is just that - cute, not provocative. As for the color, the blush pink is a perfect light pink. I was worried it might be that nude-pink-beige that was popular a few years ago, which had been awful for my pale complexion. The shirts are nice, soft and stretchy. Here is my issue, I knew that the packaging for this would be minimal (no big, box with stuffing), I had NO idea this would be in a clear bag, I mean see through all the way, thankfully it was only shirts. Less packaging should not mean no packaging at all.

I got the black and eggshell white two-pack for less than $5. I'm about a size 14, but because Amazon's "slim fit" can run really small in the tummy and hips and since I'm big there (and the bust), I generally buy an XXL in tops sized as such. This was a surprising hit! The fabric is lined with some synthetic fabric that feels soft and makes undergarments pretty much invisible (even in the ivory colorway). The fabric may make it warmer, too, which could be a negative depending on the season. It has a deep v-neck with ruching that's flattering. Fits over my 36GG UK no problem. Tunic length and sleeves long enough for my 5'9" self. The only negatives I have are probably personal to me. First, the ivory is NOT flattering if you have cool coloring. But it'll still be fine as a layer piece, and for less than $2.50, I'm fine with that. Second is one that I seem to have with most Amazon Essentials tops: the shoulder seams puff out at least an inch past my shoulder bones, which isn't attractive. But these are minor irritances given that I can wear even the ivory over bras without worrying about them showing, that they're just flattering, and this crazy low price. These ladies long sleeves tops are so soft and comfortable. I ordered the recommended size of xxl in Blush pink / black and Gray/ black duos. They are great for layering or wearing alone . Wear with jeans and looks nice with dress pants as well. The fit is perfect , not tight or restrictive with a nice length. Not too short where I will have to pull top down in front or back . I like the cinched detail at the bust and the v- neck . It’s very modest and not exposing at all. Has great V for wearing with pretty jewelry. Easy wash and quick hang to dry. Would be great for traveling since it dries overnight and you won’t have to overpack your carryon bag with multiple tops. Roll and pack…takes minimal space. I really like these tops and will order more. It was a great value and I’m very pleased. Finally Just like others that reviewed the gray …. The color was not a true gray but this wasn’t a deal breaker because it brings out the gray in other items of clothing that are gray and is not so monotone. I have a 42” chest, 36” waist and 44” hips. I purchased this shirt in XL. It fit and it was flattering. I think the XL was ever the slightest bit too big as there seemed to be wee bit of extra material under the arm pits. It’s not that big of a deal and think it’s a preference thing as to how form-fitting you prefer shirts like this. I could have bought a L and been okay too. The v-neck was neither too short nor too deep. I could bend over and maintain modesty. The way the fabric is scrunched in the chest area was very agreeable to my proportions. The bottom of the top did not have to be stretched out to fit over my bigger hips. The fabric is soft, washed up well with no notable shrinkage. I washed it in cold water and dried it on “low”. No pilling noted. These shirts are FINALLY my replacements for my (now discontinued ) No Boundaries long sleeve ribbed v-necks that finally wore out after 10 years! I was getting frustrated because those shirts were amazing in durability, feel and fit. So far, I think my quest is over and this is the closest I’m going to get. Long sleeve v-necks are a staple in my wardrobe and I’m picky about them. I will buy more of these shirts. EDIT: I didn’t notice that one sleeve actually wasn’t either completely stitched or came unstitched along the seam at the wrist. It was about a two inch gap. No biggie to fix, but not what you should have to do on a brand new shirt. ... show more

These tops are well priced and are so comfy. They are true to size, are warm and stretchy and keep in mind that they are fitting. They gathering on the front just gives it so much more style than a plain tee shirt. I have bought in various colors and absolutely love them! I am 5 foot 2 and weigh 150 and the large fits perfectly. I have washed them a few times and they do not shrink at all and look as good as they did on day one when I got them.
