I’m including lots of photos and measurements for those ladies like me who struggle to find tall boots that fit and flatter their shorter legs or skinny calves. I ordered these in the Grey Faux Suede, and they look just like the listing photos, which to me, is closer to ivory than grey. They are beautiful! I wear 8.5 regular, but often purchase size 9 in dress boots. I ordered the size 9 in these and they fit perfectly with a thin to medium sock. Heavy socks would be too tight, I think. Even though they are 3 inch heels, the width and chunkiness of the heel make them quite stable. There is a decent non-slip rubber on the soles as well. Overall I find them very comfortable for high heeled boots. Now for the shaft…The listing says, “Shaft height measures 14.5 inches from where your heel sits to the top of the shaft.” My pair in size 9 are actually 15 inches high, maybe a tad over. Although I really prefer boots that have a shaft height of around 13” (my legs look longer in a shorter boot), I thought I could still pull these off, especially under long skirts. My legs are approximately 15” from my heel to the bend in my knee. Since these boots are every bit of 15” high, the top of the boot cuts into the back of my leg (under my knee) when I’m seated. It’s bearable for short periods of time, but uncomfortable. This is so unfortunate, since I absolutely love these boots. If they were that half inch shorter as listed, they might not be too uncomfortable. I’m even ok with how they look with a variety of skirts (while standing), even though they are taller than I prefer. I’ve included photos with an above the knee skirt, one that is just below the knee, and one that is mid-calf length, for reference. Also a couple pictures of them next to my favorite black dress boots to show the height difference. The circumference is about 15” at the top of the boot. My calves are only about 13.5” at their widest, so I’m used to boots gapping on me. These are beautiful, quality boots for a great price (around $35 at the time of this review). Hopefully my measurements and photos will help you determine if they will be a good fit for you.

These boots are super cute but tight in the toe box. I ordered an 11W, but it seems as though the only wide part of the boot is the calf and I wear a medium/regular calf. I definitely would have kept them if not for the wide calf. The boot is cute and looks good on. I was concerned if they would look like a manmade cheap product, but they do not. I recommend them for someone who might have wide calf and want cute boots that will kick up an outfit a notch.

Beware these are listed as wide width but are not; they are wide calf. Beyond this issue, the boots are cheaply made with difficult zippers, poor seams, and a cheap, synthetic shoebox that causes immediate sweating. Due to not being wide width as advertised, the toe box was very tight. The sole was very hard and uncomfortable. I wouldn't be able to stand/walk more than 15 minutes in these.

The Amazon Essentials women's tall heel boots are really nice. I ordered size 7, which is my usual size and they fit perfectly. However I could have ordered a half size up to allow for thick socks or tights. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the toebox & heel are cushioned. It's very nice to have good padding in tall boots. The zipper is on the inside leg area and goes from the arch up about 4-5 inches only. The opening makes it easier to pull on the boot. At the top of the leg of the boot, there is a gusset which is wonderful for anyone with bigger calves, me included. The chestnut brown color is rich and warm. The round toe and block heel are of the moment. The boots seem sturdy and well made. They are faux leather & they appear as faux leather. The sole has ridges at the ball of the foot area for traction and the heel has a plastic cap. I'll probably add a nonslip grip to both to help with stability throughout the fall & winter weather. A good pair of boots that will pair well with dresses, skirts or pants. Overall a great pick.

I’m 5’ exactly and every boot I don’t passed my knee cap got these with no expectations because trial and error so when I got them I was pleasantly surprised and loved them. Comfy air right below my knee and come in wide calf if you need. Easy to slip on.
