Love love love it! I’m about 5’2” around 198-200lbs with 40 DDD bra size. Bought the XL and it fits just right! Amazingly soft material that’s nice and stretchy! I feel this does run a little big. I’m usually a 2XL in shirts, so I’m glad I went smaller then I originally planned based on reviews. But even if it was a bigger size, I’d still be able to get away with it. Once it came in, I bought a 2nd one! 🫣 going on a trip to Florida and I feel like these are going to be perfect easy outfits to pack and wear… may even buy another.. or two. I got this Amazon Essentials Women's Casual Summer Short-Sleeve Scoop Neck Romper, and I am having a genuine identity crisis in cotton form. On one hand, it is very cute. Light, floral, comfortable, true to size, and honestly well made for something that feels like it was designed by someone who said, “what if pajamas were socially acceptable outside the house?” It washes well, keeps its shape, and does not do that tragic stretchy thing where a garment slowly gives up on life after one laundry cycle. The shorts do not ride up, which is a small miracle. The waist has a drawstring so you can go from “soft snack creature” to “lightly snatched woodland nymph” depending on your mood. Functionally, it is doing everything right. On the other hand, I put it on and briefly felt like I should be supervised. Not in a bad way. Just in a “am I dressed like a toddler who escaped a summer picnic” kind of way. I cannot decide if I have a romper body type or if I have simply become a person who is cosplaying childhood memories I barely remember from the 70s and 80s. I tried adding a belt to elevate it and immediately looked like I had misunderstood the assignment. The romper politely rejected all attempts at sophistication and remained committed to its casual, almost pajama-adjacent energy. And yet… I am keeping it. Because it is extremely comfortable, and I have decided comfort beats existential fashion questions. I may not wear it out in public unless I am feeling brave or have no clean laundry left in my entire existence, but for lounging it is perfect. I basically live in these! It so soft and breathable and lightweight. I never overheat, it’s so cool, in these and it’s perfect for around the house. Nightgowns have never been my thing, but these are a perfect alternative. The pockets are a nice addition to carry my phone or out my hands in when I’m anxious. The color is so vibrant and doesn’t wash out nor does the material pull or wrinkle in the wash. It does run a little big but I don’t mind that for around the house wear.
