Great alternative to shorts for those of us who look better in a dress. Suitable for beach, backyard barbecue, grocery shopping. One star off because it comes out of the dryer a little wrinkled, which can be fixed by smoothing out with your hands.

After hours of looking at dresses, I bought this dress to wear home after surgery, not expecting to like it so much. I could wear this every day because of the fit and cotton fabric. It is shaped in the bust area with the first seam almost like an empire-maybe a few inches lower. There is only one more seam, creating the bottom tier. The construction of the dress and the black color hides my bloated stomach. The midi dresses with multiple tiers are popular right now but I think this style is more attractive for my 5’4” height since it hits at my knee. The pockets do add a little bulk which I don’t think I would like if the dress was a lighter color since it would be more noticeable. The black can definitely be worn for casual excursions. I really wanted this to work because it’s so cute, but the cut on the upper body is off. The sleeves are snug and high up in the armpit. The bodice is a little slim. These are my favorite everday dresses. I have purchased all three colors, wish Amazon would add a few more. The fit is consistant across the colors. I purchased mine one size larger so I could shrink in the dryer. They did reduce one size, but after multiple wash/ dry cycles they have not become smaller. Nice! The fabric is soft and easy to wear. Love the cotton material, it is so comfortable. The style however is just a little boxy with the pockets. Not very flattering but breathable and sporty. Nice and roomy, able to wear my normal size throughout pregnancy.
