These are comfortable but keep in mind they run narrow. I am not a wide but i ordered the wide based on other reviews. If you are a true wife these are not the boots for you. If you have a narrow foot, order the regular and if you are medium width order the wide.

The boots just arrived and I was so excited to try them on. Straight out of the box, they looked really nice. Good quality and well constructed. BUT, they failed to mention in the description that the tongue of the boot is sewn to the inside of the boot for the top 3 eyelets. So if you have high arches like me, or just like looser fitting shoes, these are a no-go to being able to control the shoe opening. If you have normal feet, these will probably work great for you, just not for me. ... show more

This pair of Amazon Essentials Women's Moc Toe Boot is pretty comfortable, especially for size 7.5 wide, which is wider set than the regular. I feel like they fit to size, and look fashionable. For the price of $40, now even on sale at that, I thought this was good deal.

I do like these very much, they are good looking, not too vinyl-y and from a distance can pass for leather, and the tread is enough for even a snowy day probably. The heel does add some height to my 5’2” frame so that’s great. They weren’t terribly difficult to get on but the tongue is sewn in on the sides and then the excess kind of gets folded in off to each side, so that means you need to REALLY loosen the ties to get them on, not a big deal, just a head’s up. Sizing- I normally wear a 6 or a 6.5, I ordered this in a 6.5 wide, even though I don’t have a very wide foot, just so that I would have lots of room for thick socks and they are not what I would consider a wide at all, they feel like your average shoe in width (so I imagine a non wide size is pretty narrow) and I found that they run a bit short, my toes seemed to be pretty far up to the tip and for a 6.5 wide that surprised me. I can still wear them but there won’t be any thick socks worn with them, lol. There isn’t much padding in the shoe itself, just a thin layer of memory foam that squishes and becomes useless once you put your weight on it so these will be more for fashion than comfort. But overall I like these, they’ll be fun to play with come fall and useful for me when I head up to our cabin since I could see these with leggings and a flannel shirt. ... show more

I'm crazy about the minimalist styling on these Amazon Essential boots! Very reminiscent of Doc Martens. However, Docs are known for their rounded toe, and these have a moc toe (square toe with cording), which I actually prefer. They're modern, sleek, and they look expensive. Out of the box they smell like real leather. The laces are good. The insole is cushy and comfortable, made from memory foam. The top of the boot is flexible and doesn't dig into your ankles or calves. I like the sole as well, good grip but also minimalist in its styling. And it comes in a real shoe box, which a lot of shoes don't these days. The box is sturdy and great for storage. Some people were complaining about the faux leather but I think it's convincing. I'm not crazy about the 2 inch heel height, I think it's too much. I totally realize this is the style right now, and I'm probably in the minority. On the size 9 the heel is 1.5 inches tall (plus the normal sole means it adds about 2 inche total). Also, these run very narrow. That's the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 - I think they're narrow they should be marked as such. Standard width for women is B, I suspect these are an A or even 2A. But if you're a narrow foot, and like the heel height, I definitely think these are a great value. ... show more
