The fabric is not stretchy. It doesn't shrink when it's washed though. While the fabric is lightweight, I would still choose to wear it on spring or fall days instead of summer days. It doesn't wrinkle very badly. Hanging it out of the dryer usually is enough to get rid of a lot of the wrinkles. While I didn't have any issues with gapping in the chest area ( I am well blessed), I did have a button put in by a tailor and that's been just fine. I'm very skeptical about button-up shirts. I am a 34E and I have found few that fit without gaping in the chest. This shirt gave me just the right level of business casual over-sized without looking messy. Everything stays covered all day long (even with wrangling kids and puppies!). Fit as expected until it hits my stomach and hips but comes together enough in front to look okay. Not wearing it to button down. Wearing it to cover my arms from the sun instead of using sunscreen, so for that it suits my purpose.. 100% cotton and not too heavy.

I’m a sucker for a crisp cotton button down. If you put this is the dryer for a bit and then hung it up, it wouldn’t need ironing. But, I do like my shirts to be ironed and this shirt (I own this shirt in 3 colors) irons up beautifully.

Bought 4 of these shirts for sun protection. I love how light weight and cool they are. My only personal problem is the tiny buttons which I know is standard for this type shirt but my arthritic thumbs have trouble. That said, I’m buying more because they’re great.

Just got this blouse and love the fit. Got an XS as I'm 5'2", 107 pounds. I haven't ironed or washed it yet but will be sure to wash in cold water as it's 100% cotton.
