I got these Amazon Essentials Chelsea ankle rain boots because I wanted something kind of easy to slip on when it’s raining, you know, for quick errands and walking the dog, and also just handling messy weather without totally wrecking my everyday shoes. After using them for a bit, they’ve ended up being pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. Nothing flashy, but honestly practical. At first glance, they look clean and minimal, which I really like. The Chelsea boot style makes them feel more like a regular boot, not this super obvious rain boot vibe. so you can wear them with jeans, leggings, and casual stuff without feeling like you’re dressed only for bad weather. It’s kind of that in-between look that works. The slip-on design is probably the best part. The elastic sides make them really easy to get on and off, which is great when you’re in a hurry. No laces, no zippers, just step in and go. That convenience is why I find myself grabbing them a lot when it’s wet out. Comfort wise, they’re decent for short to medium use. The inside feels fine for walking around town, doing errands, and being outside for a couple of hours. They’re not super cushioned like sneakers, but they’re comfortable enough for what they are. They also seem to waterproof pretty well. I’ve worn them through wet grass, puddles, and steady rain, and my feet stayed dry the whole time. Like, that’s the main point, and so far they’re doing it without weird surprises. I also like the ankle height, it covers enough for splashes without being bulky or restricting. Plus, they’re lighter than taller rain boots, so they’re easier to wear for day to day. What I like most is the versatility. They don’t shout “rain boots,” so you can just keep them near the door and grab them when you need them, without having to rethink your whole outfit. Only small downside, and it’s pretty common with ankle rain boots, they can feel a little snug if you’re wearing thicker socks. Also, they’re more about function than long-distance comfort. Overall, these are simple, dependable rain boots that pretty much do what they say. Easy to put on, easy to pair, and they help you stay dry without dealing with bulky footwear.

I bought these for rainy days and muddy walks around town, and overall I've been pretty happy with them. They have a clean, simple look that works with jeans, leggings, and even casual work outfits, which is one of the reasons I picked them in the first place. The biggest plus is that they keep my feet completely dry. I've worn them through some pretty nasty rain and puddles and never had any water get inside. They're also easy to slip on and off thanks to the side elastic panels, which is convenient when you're rushing out the door. Comfort is decent, especially for a rain boot. I can wear them for running errands or walking around for a few hours without any issues. The sole has enough traction that I don't feel like I'm going to slide around on wet sidewalks. A couple of things keep me from giving five stars. The fit runs a little roomy on me, so thicker socks work best. Also, because they're rubber, my feet can get a bit warm if I'm wearing them all day. They're great for wet weather, but I wouldn't choose them for long-distance walking or standing for an entire day. Overall, these have been a solid purchase. They're practical, waterproof, look nice, and cost less than many similar options. If you're looking for an everyday rain boot that doesn't scream "rain boot," these are worth considering.

These boots are so stinking cute that I can't stand it! I'm obsessed with the cool olive green color. The elastic part around the ankle is neoprene material which is so soft and comfortable. These boots are so well made and so comfortable to wear. Great support that I can wear them all day. They're even comfortable without socks, which I don't actually suggest. Lol The soles are soft and have decent arch support which I wasn't really expecting from past experience. The rubber is thick and they are excellent quality. I was torn between sizes because I normally wear between an 8-8.5 depending on the style shoe and with boots I always go for the larger size, but since they didn't have the half size, I went with an 8 and they fit perfectly! I really love everything about these boots. These look great with jeans and even really cute with shorts or a casual skirt. My only "con" is that they are a bit heavier than what I'm used to wearing but I'm in Florida so we usually wear flip flops, sneakers and lightweight footwear. I am so surprised that these boots are in the $35 range because thats an excellent value for the money for these quality rain boots.

These boots are very comfortable and fit well right out of the box. The slip-on design makes them easy to put on and take off, and they worked well for everyday wear. The waterproof material seems like it would be great for wet weather, and the traction on the sole feels secure. My main issue is that the outer casing started peeling before I even wore them once, which was disappointing. Overall, they're comfortable boots, but the quality of the exterior finish could be better.

I ordered my usual size 7 and they fit great. These boots have a nice weight to them, very thick outsole with deep treads that feels safe even when I’m somewhere wet like a hike with some waterfalls that’s near us. The rubber is thick and even and is a nice hunter green like in the listing photos. The lining is also thick and has a nice stretch to it, I’m impressed with how comfortable that part is. The insoles provide good padding but are also removable so if you want to add your own you can, I may end up adding my orthopedic insoles in their place. I can easily step in them so they’re really nice for keeping by the door and switching from house shoes outdoor shoes. The ankle height makes them nice for summertime but I think I could still use them in the winter especially with a good pair of socks. Overall these feel like great shoes that could last for many years and are easy to clean so I’m not afraid to go somewhere they’ll get messy.

These rain boots are incredibly thick, heavy, and durable, making them perfect for tough weather and messy outdoor work. The solid construction feels completely waterproof, and you can tell right away that the rugged material is built to last for years without cracking or leaking. While they are a bit heavy to walk in for long distances, that extra weight translates to excellent protection and stability on muddy, slippery ground. They fit comfortably and hosed off easily after a long day in the mud, they also provided the exact heavy duty performance I was looking for in rain boots.

Maybe I'll love them more with time? Out of the box they were exactly like the listing but somehow... also not. First thing I noticed was their girth. They are bigger than my other rubber chelseas, not just because I ordered .5 up, but they've just got more bulk. I do like them. They fit with thick and thin socks and they feel fine when you walk. And they are cute! Maybe after more wear I'll be able to put my finger on what's off. Barely off, but off.

I got these for myself, and I like the simple black Chelsea style. They are easy to wear when it is raining or when I do not want to mess up regular shoes. They make sense for Florida because rain can come out of nowhere. I like having boots that are easy to slip on for errands or quick trips outside. These are useful to keep near the door.
