I have slightly wider feet so I was worried it would feel too tight, but I was comfortable wearing them to a wedding for 6 hours on a ranch, so they exceeded my expectations. The material is like suede, I haven’t cleaned the dust off of them yet, but hopefully it cleans up well. The cons: The only thing I can say is it does fit snug. This isn’t so tight that it hurts or blisters though, but you do feel your foot touching the shoe on all sides. The skinny of it: if you are on the fence, I wouldn’t hesitate. The color is rich and looks just like the photo in the listing. I wore around the house today and they are comfortable. I read in some reviews that the heel is loose but I didn’t find that to be true. The portion around the ankle is loose but that’s preferred. I’ve had ankle boots before that, due to height, pushed into my lower shin with every step. The space around the ankle in these shoes allows movement without discomfort. Didn’t want to pay$50+ for a new pair of boots. These fit the bill. Feel like suede. Size runs a bit small but I knew sizing up would probably be too big. My shoe stretcher helped. Insole not exceptionally padded but I still find these to pretty comfortable.

These are some nice ankle high shoes. My wife wears a size 5, so smaller shoes are not the easiest to come by, Looks good, and she indicates they are pretty comfortable. Also comfortable enough that she does not believe any break-in period will be required. Well worth the price.

Bought these 9 months ago and already need to replace. At first very stiff and tight but loosened up fairly quickly. These are a once every other week wear and unfortunately they loosened up a bit too much. The outer sole is soft so it takes on the shape of your foot. And the heel is covered with soft material. They easily get knicks and gouges. The style is spot on but the quality is definitely lacking. For the price I guess it's OK, bought as a replacement for a very similar "fergie" brand boot which lasted over 4 years before I broke the zipper on them. ... show more

I wear a size 13 and these were true to size. I’m very happy with my purchase. The material looks better, higher quality in person than it did in the photos. The heel is nice and wide which provides stability. Love the zipper for easy on and off. Probably not for someone with wide feet though. I have skeleton feet and with a midweight sock these fit perfect. For a M width foot it should fit fine, but certainly not a wide. ... show more
