Very soft and thicker than average. The x-large was comfortable and roomy when first tried on. After washing, it had shrunk a bit but still fit ok, almost like a tailored fit. If it shrinks any more, it will be too small. If you are between sizes, I recommend a size up.

    • Surprisingly Good Quality for the Price — My Experience with an Amazon Essential Slim-Fit Shirt
For the borderline slim-fit guys (like me), don’t assume this will be a comfortable shirt — it’s tight. I’m not here to dwell on my mistakes, but to provide an honest review of this product. My criteria for buying this shirt were style, comfort, quality, and value — and it meets or exceeds all of them. I wanted a long-sleeve shirt I could wear outdoors for both work and play, and the charcoal heather color delivered perfectly. My main requirement for comfort is that the shirt be 100% cotton or a soft cotton blend. This one is indeed 100% cotton, and I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and substantial the material felt for the price I paid. Because it’s a slim-fit design — and I may have overestimated my size — I had to stretch it out a bit to make it more comfortable. It stretched and returned to shape without any quality issues.     • Shirt fits nicely, but quality of stitching is lacking.
Nice T-shirt but unfortunately the seem under one of the shoulders ripped within a few weeks. I was hoping to return the shirt but it looks like it's too late.

    • Sleeves and cuffs are ok after first wash !
At first I thought the sleeves are too long and there werent cuffs - the ends of sleeves are open ended and loose . One had to fold them a couple of times to simulate tightness of cuffs. This was before washing and tumble drying. With shrinkage all the issues were resolved. So I’m now HAPPY w the long sleeve shirts. Slim fit good design. Excellent fabric thickness. Will get other colors in addition to the four I bought. Much better design and material than Hanes equivalent ... show more
