For the borderline slim-fit guys (like me), don’t assume this will be a comfortable shirt — it’s tight. I’m not here to dwell on my mistakes, but to provide an honest review of this product. My criteria for buying this shirt were style, comfort, quality, and value — and it meets or exceeds all of them. I wanted a long-sleeve shirt I could wear outdoors for both work and play, and the charcoal heather color delivered perfectly. My main requirement for comfort is that the shirt be 100% cotton or a soft cotton blend. This one is indeed 100% cotton, and I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and substantial the material felt for the price I paid. Because it’s a slim-fit design — and I may have overestimated my size — I had to stretch it out a bit to make it more comfortable. It stretched and returned to shape without any quality issues. I bought it for under $10 during an Amazon flash sale, and it’s absolutely worth the price. I’m planning to buy more as winter approaches.

Surprisingly good for the price. Crisp cotton. Good slim-fit as well. I bought L and XL sizes. L is a little tight for me and XL has a bit more space. Might want to size up if you want a roomier fit. Only wish they more non-heathered colors. Heathered colors are honestly more for synthetic shirts. A good olive drab and navy would be killer.

I'm 6'3" and 225 lbs with broad shoulders and slight muscular build with a little bigger tummy. I ordered the XL and the fitment around the chest & torso is good. It's fitted feeling but still a little loose around the body area to easily move around in and stay comfortable, and doesn't make me look like a sausage. The arm sleeves (bicep areas) are a bit tight and I can really feel it when I bend my elbow, but not overly tight where it's uncomfortable. If anything, I like it tighter around the arms area so it doesn't look baggy, and this shirt does not look baggy on me. The sleeve length goes to my wrists and has a good length overall, and it fits my body well to where I ordered some additional colors to have. It's not a perfect 5 stars, but pretty good for what they are and for the price. I don't know what people are saying about the smell, but there is zero smell to it. Material feels good & comfortable, but a little thicker than your standard t-shirt, which is nice when wearing it during the colder months and layering it with a jacket. I wish Amazon Essentials made this same shirt & fitment/sizes in 100% polyester with some cool-dry material, so I could wear these to the gym. If you wear cotton shirts and sweat in them all the time, then they'll eventually start to smell bad. Stick to polyester shirts for any activities, but for leisure wear this shirt feels great.

The quality and feel is great, however calling it a LARGE is a real stretch (pun intended). Do not order a Large unless you can wear a Medium, as apparently "Slim-Fit" actually means one size smaller than listed. I had to give it to my wife, who can actually wear it and still breathe!

I am 25 years old at 6'1 and 140 pounds. (Yes that's almost underweight) with a 38 chest and a 29 waist, these shirts fit surprisingly perfect. However, if you are looking for thin, stretchy, athletic shirts, these wont be it. They have a thick and sharp look, but are still quite comfortable. Now I must be clear and tell you that they indeed shrink quite a bit after tumble drying, but that is expected from 100% cotton. With my thin frame being as tall as I am, the shirts are flattering and snug at the chest and arms the way I want, but are still quite short in length. If you don't tuck in your shirts the way I do, go with the large. I went for medium mostly for the chest fit and because the length is irrelevant to me since I tuck in everything I wear. Overall highly recommend not just because they fit so well for a skinny tall guy, but the price was hard to steer away from. Amazon Essentials impressed me again.
