I was looking for an inexpensive sport coat that can travel well. I normally wear 48L coats, sometimes 50, jacket so I ordered an XXL. I couldn't be happier with this! I was skeptical because the fabric is quite lightweight - it's as if it is just the outer fabric of a traditional sport coat, no lining, no shoulder pads, etc. BUT I've worn it several times now and it is super comfortable to wear. It's recently been brutally hot here in Vegas, yet this feels so much better than a traditional sport coat. So far, it holds its shape really well too. It a 'classic' fit and looks great with khakis, jeans, and dress pants. I'm definitely considering other colors now. NOTE that the description says machine washable, but the label says dry clean only.

I was a little worried when I ordered this. I wear the same size as the model and the model is six foot two. I'm five foot seven. Luckily this looks just as good on the stocky as the lanky. I was looking for an inexpensive sport coat that looked good and felt great and this certainly fit the bill. I got a lot of questions about the maker and many people are surprised it is Amazon Essentials. Definitely a great addition to the wardrobe of anyone looking for a business casual look. Surprisingly comfortable in dry heat. In humidity, not so much. Then again nothing is comfortable when it is humid.

This is a nice looking lighter blazer that's certainly worth the price. However, I do dispute the item description that shows it to be a regular fit. It's actually more of a slim fit, which to me is a weird cut for an XL. I can wear it as long as I don't button it. If I do, it's tight around the chest and gut. Most people wear blazers open anyway. So, if you're looking for something that you can button, and you can't be described as slim, you'll either want to forego this one or get a larger size. My guesstimate is that the XL measures about 46" in the chest.

I am a classic size XL and this for perfectly . I ordered XL and XXL and returned the XXL . This is classic sizing , so if your looking for slim fit its not the jacket for you .

Horrible quality. Having bought and been happy with many Amazon essential products (clothing) I was surprised at this inferior jacket. Very poor quality and no liner makes it look and feel cheap. It went right back.

I own a few different brands of sport coats and this is by far my favorite. It is the most comfortable of the ones I own. It flexes/stretches with you and looks great with jeans and other non-formal pants. I have some hesitations about the hems in the coat but my first impression is very positive. If you need business casual or a sport coat for going out, you will not find a more comfortable and attractive option. Price: 5*-won't find anything better for less than $100 let alone less than $50. Buy it today. Dear Amazon: Keep this sport coat unchanged and add a few more color options. I will continue to buy this coat with additional options!

I ordered this coat for my husband. We were both pleasantly surprised when he tried it on. It’s way better quality-wise than we expected it to be. I know some reviews complained it’s unlined but that actually works for him since he runs really hot. The XL fits him perfectly (6’ tall, ~235lbs) and he said it’s really comfortable on. My only minor complaint is I wish the buttons were a little nicer looking. While the jacket is more business casual, I would have used a higher quality button. I suppose we could always change them out if we wanted to but my husband doesn’t seem to mind at all as they are. Overall we are very happy with our purchase!
