They seem well made; the seams are straight and the material is a nice weight. I bought 2 of these shirts in size 3XL. I probably could have gotten by with a 2XL, as they seem to run a little large. I will definitely buy these again.

    • Amazon quality not consistent
I bought one of these a few months ago deliberately oversized quite a bit. Wanted to try it as a 'sleep-shirt' for warmer weather. I was really impressed with it and decided to get two more. This is one of the two -- and the quality is not as good. Not terrible but it isn't the same shirt I purchased earlier. For one thing, the quality of the fabric is not as good -- thinner, less substance. The sewing quality (I'm married to a master seamstress so, yeah, I know about these things) isn't quite as good. Here's the reason for the star loss, though -- I actually decided to try one size up went from a 5XL to a 6XLT. The first 5XL is slightly bigger -- yes, you got that right, I said 'bigger' than the 6XLT. The 6 should be wider and much longer. But it is barely any different than the 5. That smacks of poor quality control. In the garment industry, when people like something, they'll come back an buy another but not if they aren't getting the same thing. ... show more

    • Different colors are totally different shirts
I originally purchased a heather gray shirt it was perfect for Florida weather lightweight and very soft. Unfortunately the first time I washed it in cold water with medium drying for 15 minutes it shrunk about 3 inches. So I wanted to replace it with the same shirt in an extra long tall. Unfortunately they did not have that shirt in that size so I had to buy the dark gray. The good news is it fits perfectly the bad news is it has a wool/fireant feel. Totally different shirt then they heather grey. I’ll probably wear it for a day and see how it feels and then wash it and see if it shrinks. But I have no idea if the other colors are lightweight like the heather gray or heavy way like the dark gray. ... show more

I'm really glad that I stumbled across these shirts. They are not only extremely comfortable but they are sized correctly and 100% cotton. I bought one and after having worn it for a little while, I bought four more oh, they are that good.

    • Great looking shirt that fits well what more can you ask for
It wears well, looks good and fits. Being a big guy it hard to fine shirts that fits and looks good. This shirt does those two things well. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the material is a little thin, I don't know how well it will hold up, time will tell.

Overall I like the shirt! It fits good, sizing is good order your regular size. The material is thin, but great for warm summer days. I purchased the green one because Carhartt does not have that color, big difference in material thickness. This shirt washes well and wears well so far. It is perfect for warmer/hot climates. Little thicker than a regular tshirt, my husband also liked the extra length, we don’t normally order tall but it’s nice to have a few more inches to tuck into pants with assurance it isn’t going to pop out when it’s cold.

Bought this for my husband, who's never been below a 3X since high school. He wears a 4X in shirts, and has for several years now. He was *swimming* in this. It's at least one size too large for the size on the tag, and probably closer to two sizes too large. It's very soft, very lightweight, and a nice shirt, just way, way too big ... show more
