I wore these snow pants while cross-country skiing last year, and even with a beginner's tumbles into the snow, they kept me warm and dry and they held up perfectly. Overall they are comfortable. I will say they run just a little long, and they were a little restrictive in the groin area, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend them for winter hiking, but I loved them for what I wore them for. ... show more

I bought the Amazon Essentials Men's Water-Resistant Insulated Snow Bib Overall for an upcoming ski trip. While it gets the job done, there are a few things to keep in mind before purchasing. GOOD 1. The water-resistant fabric works well for light snow and wet conditions. 2. The insulation is sufficient for most mild to moderate winter conditions. BAD 1. While it’s okay for casual winter use, I wouldn’t recommend this bib for extremely cold temperatures or long hours in heavy snow. 2. The fabric feels a bit thin and may not hold up well to heavy wear and tear. Final The Amazon Essentials Men's Water-Resistant Insulated Snow Bib Overall is a decent option for casual winter activities like sledding, light snow play, or shoveling the driveway. I was skeptical about these when they arrived. I thought they felt and looked cheap and expected to return them. Then I tried them on. They are by far the most comfortable overalls I have ever worn. They are very flexible and allow me to move freely. I usually struggle to put.on and wear coveralls but these are very easy for me to get in and out of. They truly are as advertised, they keep you very warm, they keep you dry and they flex to fit very easily. I got this overall for a 4-day snowboarding trip and it did the job. It felt a little tight in the gut when leaning down to strap boots. I plan to use it again next time I go snowboarding. This overall kept me warm and comfortable. It's not the most stylish way to snowboard but it does the job. Since I only used it for 4 days I'm not giving a "durability" rating. Warm, water resistant, good fit. However, there’s no bib pocket. A sleeve pocket for RF lift passes would be nice. A phone pocket would be nice, too. Finally, the a front pocket developed a hole in it first wearing and the other front pocket was sewn partially closed. I found my car keys at the top of my boot. At least the bottom seam held up and the keys didn’t fall to the ground somewhere on the mountain. ... show more

came apart from broken stitching too easily during wear/ use. 8/10, mostly satisfied with my purchase, would suggest if you really need snow pants, and don't care too much about the quality
