After a lifetime of wearing Lee Jeans, I decided to try these from Amazon Essentials, and I am so glad I did! I've found them as good or better than Lee's, with a great, classic cut and a terrific fit. The material is a nice thickness (not too thick or thin) and feels of good quality; I found the fit runs a little small, but there are a great number of width and length options available--including a 33" length that is often not available in a jean. Each pair is a terrific value for the money (about $20 less than Lee's). Some pairs within the same size vary, but this seems to be (I'm told) typical of jeans because of the way they cut the material during manufacture. I've ordered several of the same size just to account for the slight variations that can occur, returning the ones that are not as good a fit. There was almost no shrinkage after washing, either, and the jeans look great. I am so grateful to have found these good-looking, well-priced jeans!

I wear jeans everyday at work and home. I typically buy my jeans at the local big box stores but they are always out of my size. I decided to try these. I'm 6'1" 265lbs. Not at my fighting weight at the moment so I went with 38x34's, Im usually a 36x34 regular straight fit. A little too long so I sent them back and replaced them with 38x32's. These fit perfect. Not too tight but not too baggy in the seat. The rear pockets don't hang down too low which give the seat a tighter fitting appearance. Perfect length and they cup over my shoes perfect. The material seems like it's of good quality. Soft but sturdy. They don't look cheap. Im not super hard on jeans. I usually buy them 3-4 at a time and get about 2yrs rotating them. If these last that long I'll be super happy. Easy to order and around $10 less than my usual jeans👍

Runs a size large, at least this pair. Ordered 33” waist and they fit like my old size 34” which are a bit too large. Returning for a size 32”. UPDATE 1 week later — the size 32 finally arrived (late) and they fit just a little snug. I have another brand in size 33 that fit just like these in 32, and I have not been able to fasten the waist and zip size 32 in other brands; so for me these definitely are running one size large and I need to order one size smaller than usual. I love the dark rinse color. I can wear these to the office on casual day and still look professional because there is no wash fading or distressing.

These pants are stretchy, fit good, and feel like good quality pants. They are kind of like jeggings with the stretchiness and a bit soft, but they just look like normal jeans so they are perfect for work.

My husband loved these jeans; they fit perfectly and then they literally split in two when he kneeled down. So much for stretch... We bought them according to the size chart and what size he normally wears. Great fit and comfort at first, but there is little to no stretch to them (as advertised). Maybe we just got a bad pair. He has barely had them for a month and has only worn them three times.

These Amazon jeans are a great buy, less than half the price of Levi's, and a much better fit. My Levi's used to fit me well, but my more recent pruchases of Levi's have not fit well, they are baggy. In addition, Amazon is stocking all sizes, including the 28" length which is not available with any other jeans manufacturer. Having a short inseam such as this is critical for shorter men (or women). By contrast, Levi's is increasing only selling their jeans in a smaller number of sizes, for example, even sizes only (waist 30, 32, 34, 36 inch waist). The Amazon jeans fit perfectly. I will purchase more.

These are great pants. The sizing is accurate, the waistband is flexible (if you are stuck between 2 sizes, like I am), and they are super comfortable without even a first wash. Why pay more for brand-name jeans that are not actually stretch? Shop smart and stick with the basics.

I like the look and color a lot. They have a traditional fit- kind of "no frills" but I like that. They feel sturdy and there are no off smells. The button hole for the waist closure was too small but a tiny notch from the scissors fixed that.
