Listen, I was seriously expecting to have to drop a bad review on these pants when I ordered them. But I was really digging this Terra cotta color so figured I would at least give them a shot. ....After receiving them, I noticed that the cool Terra cotta color wasn’t the same shade the color pic showed, however they did turn out to be a deep clay red color, which after really looking at it seemed to be as equally cool. Another thing I wasn’t expecting was that this material may be a bit thin, not terribly thin, but definitely super soft to the touch. I also liked the relaxed feel to the legs. They didn’t have that terrible taper in the legs most pants are getting now days. This is just a personal preference here, but I just can’t stand the skinny fit type stuff. Luckily these pants where pretty true to size, so when I ordered 34x34 they were exactly 34 in the waist, and almost 35 in length. So that’s perfect in my book. An extra inch in length isn’t bad at all. I always get my pants a few sizes larger than my actual size because I prefer baggy fit pants. Something I should mention though, is the pockets on these pants are on the average to small size. I’m a fan of the larger pockets on cargos so these wasn’t quite what I would prefer in that category, but they wasn’t unsightly small. Just not the huge pockets I dig. Like I said earlier, these pants are pretty soft so I can easily look past a couple personal expectations. It definitely seems though that for anything that I found I personally would like to see different, that made up for in a different aspect. Like I was happy to see that they have the belt loops that can actually handle a 1.75” inch tall belt. I personally can’t stand to find a pair of pants I like, just to notice that you could only fit a skinny dress size belt in the loops. Belts and belt buckles should be large, No exception. And these pants can easily fit a larger belt. Something I did do, was I went around all the buttons on all the pockets and slapped a few extra stitches in all those buttons. Now, they didn’t feel lose or anything, but this is just something I do on all my cargos. I like knowing that I won’t be losing any buttons to weak factory threads. Hey, I know this has been a bit long winded, so just let me say this, I’m gonna be honest here, I cannot attest to how long these pants will hold up, but, I’m definitely surprised at how much better they were than what I was expecting them to be. I don’t think would trust wearing these out on a construction site or doing any type of heavy manual labor, but for just out and about kick’n it, or just hang’n around the house, I would have to say YES, I’d definitely suggest others to at least give these pants a shot. Size: 35W x 30L Color: Dark Olive
First, the pluses: The fabric is incredibly soft with a pre-washed feel that’s really nice to the touch. It’s also lightweight, making it perfect for warm weather. The 3% spandex content gives it just the right amount of flexibility. All in all, the fabric is the best thing about the pants. The fit is as expected, no unpleasant surprises with any part being too long, too short, too tight, too baggy, etc. The zipper is problem-free. This is a not-uncommon problem with some pants and shorts and is therefore counted as a plus. The front cargo pockets are roomy without having an obtrusive, grapefruit packing look. Lots of color choices. I haven’t found any other cargos that come close in terms of color options. Unbeatable pricing which makes these cargos an excellent value. The Wrangler cargo pants have many of the same great features but cost about 50% more. On the down side: The front waist pockets (not the cargos) are a bit shallow, not deal-breaker shallow, but noticeable and a negative nonetheless. Other reviews have mentioned this and it should be addressed in future iterations. The biggest and really the only major shortcoming with these cargos is the rear pockets, costing them a star. They’re way too shallow, the bellows-like external styling makes them tend to sort of flop open, and the overall design is a pickpocket’s dream. The single-button flap closure doesn’t really offset these flaws. I’m planning to have a couple of Velcro strips sewn onto the flaps of one pair (I have several) to see if this better secures the back pockets. Internal slit pockets in back would be the way to go in future editions. Still a great value but this needs to be fixed to earn a fifth star. ... show more

    • What's the deal with the bell-bottoms on every pair of big men's pants
Size: 50W x 30L Color: Black
The photo makes these pants look like they are straight legged, you know fitted close to the leg at the bottom. The pair I received, 50" waist, 30" inseam, may technically be straight legged but feel like the bottom of the leg is too wide. I can never get pants that will stay around my ankle when they inevitably come off my waist and end up on my hips. Every pair of pants wears out at the bottom of the pant leg where it drags under my heel. All in all, these are pretty good pants. I like the slight give in the fabric. The pockets are deeper than many I've purchased in the same price range as of late. The cargo pocket flaps are floppy, two buttons rather than a single one would be an improvement. ... show more

These pants are great if you are looking for a cargo style pant with stretch comfort and plenty of pockets. They tend to be a bit slimmer in the leg compared to the jeans that I am used to wearing, but not that big of a deal. My only complaint about these is that they are rather short in the inseem (for my body type) so they tend to be a bit tight in the crotch when sitting compared to loose fitting jeans which causes some discomfort. ... show more
