I was a little worried about how they would look and fit based on the price, but I have been pleasantly surprised! They look and fit perfect, even after several washes! ok so i have bought many of these in different colors and styles, the main reason is the sizing is somewhat inconsistent , you have to try on a bunch of them to find a pair that are consistent in size HOWEVER that's not to say that Amazon Essentials are any worse then anybody else's brand when it comes to consistently . Another thing is lets say you find a pair in a style/color that you like and you want to buy them in another color or simply another pair, you would think that would be real easy , think again you will go through the same frustration that you did to find the first pair you liked/fit , its basically luck of the draw,The Jeans are fairly lightweight and are somewhere between jeans and chinos style slacks. i buy them because of the stretch and i would also have to say that there is more stretch in the leg and thigh then in the waist where you really need the stretch or at least that's where i need it. I feel that the biggest advantage to buying them is a. ease of ordering , they come in plenty of sizes .b. they are well priced and c. returns are Amazon easy . so just know going into it that it might not be as simple you would think it should be to simply find a pair of jeans.

Don't know what to say, but for me, these are the best feeling an fitting jeans I think I've ever bought!! Comfy on arrival after I did the one recommended wash. Perfect fit both length and waist. Hard to believe.... maybe given the price they won't last as long.... but they seem study enough and well worth the price.

These pants have a short, cheap, no-name zipper in them which I do not think will last very long. The zipper is already hard to open and close. The stitching/sewing appears to be cheap as well, I do not see that lasting very long either. The pockets are not as deep as normal jeans pockets, my cell phone sticks half way out the back pocket, so I can not carry it in that pocket without worrying about it falling out or being pick pocketed
