I'm normally a jeans guy with a taper fit but both pairs of my jeans ripped at the same time and I was desperate for a pair of pants I could get the very next day since most stores don't carry my size (40x30). Queue these green chinos from Amazon Essentials. I've never ordered Amazon Essentials in clothing before so I was a bit skeptical but I have to say, I LOVE THESE PANTS! They are extremely comfortable and fit me great. The waist is a little snug but that's more on me than the pants. Thankfully they have some stretch in them. I'm still getting used to the straight fit look as it's something I haven't worn in many, many years but overall I think they look great. The Amazon Essentials line of men's clothing I find in most cases to be too small or too narrow and feel that the quality isn't really there, like there is no inspector at the end. But these I took another chance and found them to fit just perfect length and width were accurate. The only problem was and has been for years is the buttons just fall off after one use. I would recommend, but you'll have to finish the job by sewing all, and I mean all your buttons better. I did just buy two more pairs though because of the very nice fit and feel of the material. Amazon Essentials you'll take a chance depending on where in the world they are made I guess. ... show more
