Over the years I have tried different varieties of Amazon Essential Brand pants, of one sort or another. But there never seemed to be any reliable consistency. I purchased two pair of these, same size, different color. Both have the same fit, same cut, same fabric, same amount of stretch and perfect thickness for either cold or hot weather. The fabric is very comfortable. They feel well made. So, I strongly believe that they will be durable, if taken care of. And if dried without too many other clothes, and on a low heat setting, they won't shrink or wrinkle. I ordered the Olive Drab and Black. Both are true to color. When they have more of the colors I want back in stock, I'll reorder. I think Amazon has a winner. I am very pleased with these Cargo or Field pants. Very comfortable. Plenty of room in the seat with a straight leg. I wear a 34/32. But in reality, if these were 100% cotton pants I would be closer to a size 36. So don't be afraid to order. These are great pants. I just hope they keep making these and more regular slacks as good as these. EDIT: Added note. When drying these pants, it's best to do so with as few clothes as possible and take out immediately after drying. These will wrinkle like crazy. So, if you don't like ironing, get these out of the dryer just before cycle ends.

These pants are great. I love that the waist runs a little big and the length is perfect for me. I'm 6'4" and it's sometimes hard to find pants that fit well. I love the texture of the material, and after one wash and normal dry, they retained their shape and feel even softer yet roughed. I'll be ordering more of these.

My son wears these to work, on the grounds crew at a local golf course. Fit is true to size. Stretch well during bending and lifting tasks. Good wrinkle resistance, except for the back pockets. So far, durability is good over approximately 5 washes.

A perfectly good pair of light duty cargoes and the price is right. I was a little concerned that they would be cut skimpy but they were not. They are true to size. The material is soft and comfortable. They pick up less pet hair than anything in my closet. The cargo pockets are little half bags that are stitched to the side of the pants. That is typical of cargo pants. Unfortunately the hip pockets are done the same way. They are shallow little butt bags that gap open. If you carry your wallet in your hip pocket there is every chance it will fall out unless you button that pocket. Fortunately both hip pockets have buttons. These pockets are bad news. I would not buy these pants again.
