Overall these are fine jeans for the price. They stretch, the color is versatile (Rinse), and they fit well throughout the legs. They do, however, have a low rise. So if you bend over you're going to give everyone a show. I much prefer mid-rise but the description doesn't make this clear. Also, they are a slim fit, truly. That means you won't have saggy butt material but it's a little tight in the crotch. If you normally wear slim fit jeans then you'll most likely be okay. ... show more

The fit and quality is quite fair for the price. They are lighter weight and great for casual wear any time of year. If you want rugged jeans for heavy yard work or the construction site, you better look elsewhere. Pay attention to whether the jeans you order have 1% or 2% elastane. I like both but have to go down a size with the 2% as they stretch quite a bit. So sizing might require a couple tries to get it right but they really are very nice. I am so glad they do not have a label on them. Let’s be honest…nobody wants to wear clothes that scream I bought an Amazon brand. No offense Amazon. Quality is good on your clothes. Brand image? Fit is great. Like the comfort and stretch, BUT your legs and hands will be BLUE after wearing. I always wash new clothes before wearing and these were no exception. A few items that were light colored are now either blue or have a tint of blue. I wore them AFTER being washed and my hands and legs were still tinted blue just from touching them throughout the day! Wash at least 3 times first....alone! ... show more

Amazon Essentials garments have not disappointed me yet in the jeans and t-shirts categories. They are well made, durable materials, good fit. I spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital a year ago, and after I got back to a normal life, I had lost over 80 pounds and gone from 4XL to 2XL, 46 waist to 38. I resolved to NEVER regain that weight, which meant a new wardrobe! After doing some shopping around, I realized that nobody else came close to AE in Ts and jeans and since I am now retired and have no need of semi/formal clothes, I am set. I did have to buy new belts and hats - my head is actually smaller now! And Goodwill came out pretty good on the whole deal too! ... show more
