Most of the Amazon essentials products have been wonderful in that they are of pretty good quality and the price is just right. If they fall apart after two weeks who cares! This week I gave these pants a test run for this Job... Length: Perfect Waist: Perfect Unfortunately for these pants, they will not fit you if you are more than just the "average bear". Let's just say the executives at a very large Global network got more of a show than they bargained for... Through out the whole 10 hour day of production I was making adjustments and getting squashed. YES I did try them before I brought them for work, but as most men know, when tucking in a shirt for "suit mode" pants usually get brought up higher on the waist. I did not test that and that Is my fault for showing off the boys. Love the Pants otherwise. Please think about the "larger" percentage of the population Amazon. The pants are very nice, cozy fitting, but good. The side pockets are not deep enough, they don't hold my usual pocket contents. Particularly, my I-phone slipped out of my pocket twice in the last week when I sat down, once under the seat of my car, and I had a devil of a time finding it and then retrieving it. I wear a 35" waist for most pants, including other Amazon Essentials pants. So of course I thought I knew better than all the reviews who said they run small. I was wrong - they run VERY small. Couldn't even button the 35" pants. Returned them and ordered 38" - they fit, but are still snug. Other than that, they are nice, inexpensive dress pants. Used the prime before you buy option to get the sizing right. With this brand i had to size up a little, so i ended up at a 35x29, and its the PERFECT fit. Not too loose on the legs but enough room for your legs to breathe. Bought the black and the Navy first and just bought another pair of the Dark Gray. I hope to stock up on these. Overall there’s nothing wrong with pants. However they felt a bit tight. When compared to other manufacturer pants with size 40, the waistline is 3/4” smaller. I will be ordering a larger size.
