Great jeans! They're relaxed, but not loose or super baggy, so they still look great. I got the dark wash and you can wear them as dressy jeans or just casual out and about. I have bigger thighs and the 34x30 fits perfectly with room still to spare and not constricting at all. Whether it's walking around a lot, or sitting down for hours, it's very comfortable. We'll see how long they last but I washed them once already and are holding up. The length is good as well. When I don't have shoes I probably need a belt or could've ordered 29 length, but they're fine when I have shoes on. They don't slip down at all. In all honesty, I was skeptical about ordering jeans from Amazon. I’ve always bought my jeans in stores, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I ordered these jeans for an upcoming outdoor wedding because I wanted something lighter and thinner. They showed up today, and I threw them on. They fit great, feel good and comfortable, and they don’t look cheap. I’ll mainly be using these for outings, so I can’t really attest to the durability as far as working in them, but I’d still suggest them. Not sure how i feel about these jeans. They seem well made and real denim, not that fake stretchy crap you see in the stores now a days. But the waist is so high the belt is almost around my belly button. I have bought 40x32 pants the last 10 years, ok the waist has grown but the length has always been 32. I had to return the 40x32 pants i got the first time as i felt like i was swimming in them. I ended up with 40x30's and they fit a bit better, but i just cant get over how high the waist sits. I would buy another pair or two again, for the price they cant be beat. ... show more

These jeans are an excellent buy! I have only bought Eddie Bauer jeans for the last 25 years, but this time I couldn't find my size in the correct style. I prefer classic/relaxed in dark blue. I don't like the "pre-washed" or worn look. The Dark Midnight Wash was exactly what I wanted - new jeans. The waist measurement was perfect. Unfortunately, the 32 length was waaay too long. (All the Eddie Bauers were 34x32). So I just did an exchange for a 34x30, which should be good. Eventhough the length was too long, I'm still giving 5 stars. Different manufacturers cut sizes differently. It is what it is. And the return process was EZ and the replacement size was in stock. Seriously, there is really no quality difference between these Amazon Essential jeans and my old $60 E.B.s No one sees the label anyway! ... show more

Decent jeans. Fit for me is on the large size. If I buy them again will go at least 1 size smaller. Would have give 4 stars if they had more belt loops, only have 1 in the middle on the back side.

My son-in-law just loves these pants they fit him good the zipper is great. He loves the color. The size was perfect and they are resistant and the pants. They are just so worth at the durability of the pants of material. I rate these at number five it may be a 20.
