These shoes look really cool but don’t buy them for the light up effect. My 6 year old wore them maybe 4 times and then the right shoe stopped lighting up. He’s really disappointed. The part that disappoints me however is that, after only a handful of wears, the bottom of these shoes seem to be wearing down quickly (as shown in attached photo) and will likely be too smooth to wear during the PNW rainy season for safety reasons. The uppers of this shoe are also fraying in multiple spots (see attached photo). Not convinced they’re worth their price tag but unfortunately nothing really seems to be made to last anymore. My son says they’re comfortable though. So there’s that. I’d only recommend these shoes if your child is easy on shoes, doesn’t care if they light up and if your child will be primarily using them where traction isn’t a concern. ... show more

The lights stopped working after only 2 days of wearing. No snow or rain in AZ. They are at least comfortable and easy to put on.

I purchased these for my 5 year old and he loves them. The design is awesome and the overall quality of the shoe is excellent. The material is heavy and easy to clean. The biggest con however is that after a few weeks of normal wear I noticed the lights stopped working completely on the left shoe and only occasionally works on the right.
