Very nice flannel. Not too thick and not too thin. I bought this to wear as an over shirt around the house and it's perfect for that. The only complaint I have is that the buttons are so small. As an over shirt it doesn't really matter thank goodness. Other than that I really like this shirt. I got two to start off with since I didn't know what to expect. I right away saw that these were really nice so I purchased a bunch more because they were on sale. I will be having surgery and needed button front shirts and realized I did not have even one. These are the perfect answer because they are soft and comfortable, no itching or scratching. I am also surprised that the stripes of the plaid are matched up so well. Usually in women's flannel shirts the stripes are all over the place making them look cheap and ugly and yet way more expensive than a man's shirt. These are definitely quality for the price. I washed them right away (cool water) and I don't think they shrunk at all they just got even softer. They look better than the pictures show them. The sizing seems to be just a tad big, which is great, or should I say the actual size it's supposed to be, no shortcuts. These are worth it at the regular price so getting them on sale was a great deal for me especially since I needed them. Will definitely be buying more of these.

Nice shirt, Nice fit, Nice price

REALLY nice shirt for the money. So for the sizing, I am 5'9" and 160 lbs. I got the large and it was a little big but after a wash and dry on MEDIUM heat, it fits me like a glove. I will probably be buying one more. My only initial concern was the size because I am small, (43" chest and 32 " waist) but in good shape with wide shoulders. I think the sizing is the hardest. Material is nice, soft, it is a thinner flannel but that's what I was going for, just a lounger in the evenings. Anyway, I hope this helps someone. Blessings.

Seems like a good medium weight flannel shirt

The title of the review says most everything as of now. The shirts have been washed twice now and are soft, bright, and comfortable. The size recommendation worked out. With a little expected shrinkage, the fit is good. I wonder if they will be durable, based on the material thickness, time will tell. Right now, seem like good value for the money.

Very good quality; and, IMHO, a genuine bargain.

Recently, I purchased two of these all-cotton flannel shirts and, after, delivery and inspecting them, bought two more. They are of remarkable quality, well-fashioned button holes, cross-stitched buttons, and what appear to be French seams, closely stitched, over the shoulders. The placket is well sewn as well. My only other comment (not necessarily a negative) is that the collars might have had a little more depth. I tried them on, they were properly sized (XL) and there was minimal shrinkage when laundered. The fabric, while not "heavy," is substantial and had the same thick feel after washing/drying, At their price, these Amazon Essentials shirts are a bargain.

I bought this men's button down men's flannel shirt for my husband. It lasted several years and he finally told me he had worn through both elbows. I offered to iron patches on the elbows but he declined. I really love the way this shirt looks on my husband, and he loves the way it fit and feels! I wanted to order another, but I noticed it was being discontinued, so I bought him 2 new ones. My husband and I are both really happy with our purchase! This is a soft flannel shirt with beautiful vibrant colors. If you're looking for a comfortable warm flannel shirt, that's soft, and fits true to size, this is the way to go!
