The fabric is soft against the skin, lightweight yet cozy enough to provide warmth on cooler days. I especially like the charcoal heather/maroon color combo—it looks sharp and pairs easily with jeans or joggers without feeling overly dressy. The fit is true to size in a relaxed, regular cut. It’s not boxy, but it also doesn’t cling—comfortable for moving around or layering under a jacket. The buttoned Henley collar adds just enough style to make it more interesting than a basic tee. After a few washes, it has held its shape well with no noticeable shrinking or fading. Something to keep in mind: the fabric is on the lighter side, so while it’s great for layering or mild weather, it’s not intended to be a heavy winter shirt on its own. The shirt is of a decent quality, but I would recommend ordering a size up from what you normally wear. When the shirt first arrived and was unlaundered, it fit perfectly (215lb, 6'00"). However, after its first wash (following care instructions on the tag to the letter) it shrunk significantly. It was hit right at belt level. The Amazon Essentials long sleeved shirt is a good quality shirt. It is not heavy weight but great for cooler temperatures. The color is rich and the size was correct. I ordered my husbands usual size large and it fit him perfectly. Great price too.
