I'm about 5ft9 195lbs and the black 42 seems to fit me well enough that I won't bother to have it tailored. I had read alot of reviews stating that the pockets were fake lol. They are not fake. Most new coats like this have a very light stitch in the pockets or tacked down. You can get a tiny tailor tool called a seam ripper thread remover for a few dollars on here and it will open the pockets easily. Don't be afraid to break the light stitch in pocket tops. It's very loose and made to come out. I guess a lot of people just were not familiar with this. If you unbuckle the button inside the coat on the left side, there is a tiny pack inside there with a couple extra buttons, I believe the rear lower pleats on the back are tacked down on the ends like the pockets so you can use ur seam ripper there as well. Wow what a steal! This is such a gorgeous navy blazer. It doesn't look cheap or shiny. It has a matt finish. The spare buttons are in the inside pocket. There are two slits on the back and it looks so great on my 15 year old son, who is going into High School. All the money I'll be saving on events! I measured as instructed, and it is true to measurements. I bought him size 46. He is 5'9", 204lbs, big boy (size 10.5 shoes). His chest and waist are 44 inches, his usual pant size 36. His neck size is 16.5 inches and his shoulders 22 inches. I hope this helps moms out there. We paired it with khakis and polo shirts for church & temple. It really is so nice. Glad I didn't spend 4x buying from the LE catalog. It came on a hanger in aclwar bag, then folded and put in the Amazon white bag. It could have been packaged well but it's not wrinkled. This blazer will get a lot of use. And if my son ever has a date that is freezing, he can be a gentleman and put it over her shoulders (mom can dream). ... show more

Actually fits pretty well. I was kind of iffy just ordering this without trying on but it fits well. I ordered a 44 and I wonder if a 42 might be slightly better for me but the 44 still looks nice. All the exterior pockets are fake which is a little disappointing but it’s not a deal breaker

For the price, this is the best suit jacket in my closet. I usually wear a 40R, as I'm 5'9, 195 lbs. But I read quite a few reviews that this jacket "fits tight," so I sized-up to a 42 and it fits great! Very impressed.

I’ll be honest…I wasn’t expecting much. My son informed me that he in fact was going to go to his prom…48 hours notice. Of course all the suit shops have deadlines of which we obviously missed. So I went to amazon in a panic hoping I could find a blazer that could go with his black slacks. When I got it I was absolutely shocked. This blazer was lined!
