I was pleasantly surprised by this blazer. It fits really well with a slim form by the waist (so it does not look baggy or cheap). It is simple and light, and I can pair it with black pants for work, or jeans for relaxed times. I normally wear expensive brands because cheaper ones always have massive shoulders or look baggy, this looks like a designer blazer. Nothing at all to complain about, especially at the price. Fit was more flattering (less “athletic”) than I was expecting, and quality of assembly is actually pretty good. Shows just how much markup there is in retail stores for a blazer like this, where I’d expect to pay at least double.

Ok. The size on this is a bit weird. The tags (two of them) show two apparent sizes on each tag. One # shows a '46', which is what I ordered, but that same tag also shows 38L. I know I'm a 46R based on measurements and actual store bought jacket last week that fits me perfect! This blazer from Amazon Essentials actually sorta fits but might be just a tad smaller than I like. I probably wouldn't wear it to type at a keyboard as it's too uncomfortable to extend both arms like that. My store bought 46R blazer is perfect and I could work in it all day. I mean yeah, I'm impressed. Is it Italian virgin wool with silk lining? Of course not. What is it? It's probably as good as you could possibly expect for a "cheap polyester jacket". The fit is excellent; I'm 5'10" 185lbs - or 5'9" 190lbs if you ask my wife - and it's very flattering. Sleeves sit just on the wrists, plenty of room to show some shirt. Waist is nicely tapered. The lining is nice with two breast pockets and a pen pocket. The fabric is a perfectly passable polyester, no one will mistake it for wool up close but you won't look dumpy either. Summary is either buy this or spend $450+ on a proper Hugo, BOSS, Saks, RL, or similar wool jacket. I don't think the $150-$400 jackets need apply. ... show more

Originally ordered size 42 but was tiny. Took a risk and ordered size 52 and fit very well. Sleeves are just a touch to long, but you can still get away with it wearing a long sleeve shirt. I paired with Van Heusen Flex Slim Stretch, 18 1/2, 34/36, 2XL. No tie needed.
