This robe breathes, and is good for all day comfort here in air conditioned Florida. Up north, you might consider this a 'summer robe.' I wear XL for shirts, but usually go up a size when I buy online. I've purchased this robe twice using XL-XXL. It fits perfectly just below the shoulders. Arm length is right at the wrist cuffs. Length is at the shins with plenty of room to tie off waist. Quality stitching with white piping in lapel, pockets and wrist. Holds up well during machine wash/dry, keeps shape. Slight shrinkage. The robe looks good, fits well (M/L) and the price is right. It’s a nice soft lightweight fabric. I got it in black, which has nice light grey contrasting piping. This robe probably isn’t the right choice for winter in northern Minnesota but should be good for most of the world. I also think it’s better than the robes available at the big box stores. Somehow, over the years, all I have ever had was huge, fuzzy, portable saunas that looked like a robe, or... once, a girlfriend gave me a satin robe that looked like a Captain Kirk love interest's costume. Bought the grey in a size large for the BF for Xmas for the main reason it was to have an inside tie so he wouldn't have to worry about going around being "exposed" While the fabric is nice - there was NO inside tie to keep the "stick and berries" from peeking thru thus the reason the the less then 5x star review ... show more
