I sent it back. Originally I like the design. However, I ordered an XX-Large. The garment size on the label attached to the plastic bag said XX-Large. However upon inspecting the garment the sewn label on the garment says US: S Small as is also printed on the Back of the neck of the garment and it says: s/ch/p Stands for Small. Chico, and Petite. see attached pictures. I tried it on and the sleeves fit are short and all too tight not confortable. I may buy again for a medium or large to see what I get. This men's compression shirt doesn't have a thermal base layer to keep you warm and dry.

I am practically writing this to spite most of these 1-star reviewers of the Amazon Essential Control Tech Mock Neck Long-Sleeve shirt -- quite frankly, their reviews (and awful pics) should be stricken from the record. What did they think 'control' meant? Did they not instantly recognize this to be a compression shirt? It's SUPPOSED to be tight-fitting! So I marked this item: 'Fits as Expected'... cuz I expected this shirt to fit as any other compression garment fits (i.e. super tight) & I'm not ignorant to criticize a product for doing exactly what it's meant for. For that reviewer of 50 years of age w/ athletic but w/ bit of a tummy... which is it? By definition, you can't be both! I'm also over 50 with an athletic body, and as stated: Fits as Expected. I am 6'1" and 160 lbs. The perfect size for me for a shirt is MEDIUM-TALL. Since that particular size is not at all common, 'Large' is my go-to sizing for shirts. So why not 5-stars? I've owned lighter compression shirts, but the big negative is the funky odor!! What the hey, Amazon? Made in China, but still... awful & obvious! And I washed it right away & use dryer sheets. Still there... still bad. 4-stars as I'll likely keep the shirt & still use it... but that odor has it where I doubt that I could recommend these without thoroughly warning a potential buyer that the chemical odor is likely due to the textile (material) and will be something to consider.

Shirt is nice, cool camo design, pretty lightweight and comfortable materials I'm 5'10" 150 (usually a medium) and this medium is really small and I'm pretty slim so take heed and go up a size

I really like this shirt but sizing unless you are very thin is hard to figure. I am a medium so bought a large from the reviews. A large is tight on me and I am thin but a friend told me it made me look fat. I am fit but not a body builder. So for an undershirt it would work fine for me. I thought it would make a nice summer hiking shirt. It is light weight and seems to dry fast and stay cooler. Now for size I am between a medium and large so probably should have bought an extra large.

Awesome fit and look (size Medium for a tall lean guy), but keep in mind there is no mention of UV protection (UPF rating), and while it is made of polyester and elastane, which are both good UV blockers, the shirt is very thin and most likely the fibers are not treated with UV blocker chemicals. I'd use it mostly as an under layer, indoors, or in the evening, definitely not at the beach.
