Good value, but not remotely heavy or thick; about the weight of a normal, good quality t-shirt. Very soft and comfortable. I hope it shrinks a bit as the sleeves are very long -- and I have long arms. Otherwise fits as I would expect a US XL to. I'll continue my hunt for a thick cotton, Henley collar shirt that is not waffle weave. In the meantime I'll get good use from this one. ... show more

Soft, Warm, and Perfect for Everyday Wear This Amazon Essentials long sleeve Henley has quickly become one of my favorite casual shirts. The fabric is soft against the skin, lightweight yet cozy enough to provide warmth on cooler days. I especially like the charcoal heather/maroon color combo—it looks sharp and pairs easily with jeans or joggers without feeling overly dressy. The fit is true to size in a relaxed, regular cut. It’s not boxy, but it also doesn’t cling—comfortable for moving around or layering under a jacket. The buttoned Henley collar adds just enough style to make it more interesting than a basic tee. After a few washes, it has held its shape well with no noticeable shrinking or fading. Something to keep in mind: the fabric is on the lighter side, so while it’s great for layering or mild weather, it’s not intended to be a heavy winter shirt on its own. The fabric of this Henley-style top is lighter than expected, which makes it ideal for the Texas spring weather. The colour is as pictured, and comfort and fit on the 2XLT are very good. I've ordered two more in other colours.

Nice and soft but after the first wash the sleeves shortened up. Washed it in cold and dried on the lowest heat.

One of the most comfortable henley shirts I have tried. I didn’t want to get out of it. I went on to buy a few more. Very pleasant fabric, nice fit. Warning: sleeves are long. This works for me, I roll up the sleeves anyway, this allows one additional roll. As the pics clearly represent, this shirt has no cuffs. Which is what I prefer (again cause I roll up the sleeves). I washed the first one two times since purchase, and did not notice any shrinking, or very minimal perhaps. However, I never completely dry the shirts, I leave them just slightly damp and hang to finish drying. If you dry it to death in the machine, I would imagine it will shrink, it is cotton after all. ... show more

This shirt ordered in the burgundy color was nice. It leaned toward purple. 100% cotton so careful not to place in dryer. Purchased in M for my tall son and the sleeves were surprisingly long but rolled them up. It was a nice soft cotton and not too thick or thin.
