I needed new socks for my girls (6 years old and 10 years old). The sizing was a bit confusing, so I just ordered the small, medium, and large figuring I’d send back the pack that didn’t fit. The smalls fit my 6 yo (she wears a 1 in kids’ shoes) the medium fit my 10 yo (wears a 4 in kids’ shoes) and the large fit me (size 10 in women’s shoes). They’re very soft and my kids love them. I decided to keep the large pack for me to use for the gym, so didn’t have to send anything back.

So my foot size is usually 5.5, sometimes I can wear a 6 in some brands, if I'm lucky. Women with small feet, you know what I mean here.... socks sized 5 - 9 are not made for us. If they can fit a size 9, they cannot fit a 5. Why do these companies insist on vexing us like this? The cute tiny "no show" socks certainly aren't no-show socks for us. All that extra sock hanging out the back looks like our shoes are about to set sail. So I started trying kids socks. Poor children!! Kids' socks are usually thin.... SO thin. It's kind of like a layer of tissue paper and left me with blisters if I wore them for a long day of walking. Sometimes they didn't stay put because they would ride down. And the seams in kids' sock are egregious. I tried one brand of kids' socks and rogue threads kept wrapping around my toes. Enter this brand of socks right here - they're substantial like adult socks. No crazy seams. No weirdness in how they fit. The only other brand I've found that wears well like this is Spotted Zebra, size 1 - 3. Those are slightly thinner than the Amazon Essentials. I'd consider them perfect for summer shoes... converse and whatnot and they come in super fun colors and designs (so if small footed adult women want sharks and monsters on their socks, by golly, it can happen at less than novelty store prices). I use the Amazon Essentials kids socks for my Doc Martens, etc. and bought size 9 - 2.5. So, for now, I have two brands of socks that will fit me and, sock gods willing, they'll continue to be sold.

My son needed socks for is ever-growing feet. When I first washed them there was tons of black lint in the dryer afterwards. I chalked it up to being new socks. Now it’s been three or four months since we purchased the socks and every time he wears a pair I know it because there’s a little black balls of fuzz everywhere where he has walked. When he takes them off his feet are covered in black. They are soft and warm and very comfortable but the shedding they do is nonstop and a dealbreaker. I hate that I have to get rid of these socks but I can’t vacuum every single day that he wears them.

They are a great value for a 14 pack. The socks are low cut and fit with his sneakers well. He says they provide good cushion. Overall, I would recommend these socks.

Get rid of all of the character socks, “days of the week” socks, and colored socks (you can’t find the matches anyway, just admit it to yourself. That’s the first step to freedom). BURN the basket of “orphan” socks you have sitting in your laundry room (you’ll never find the matches, just trust me on this) Buy a bag of these for all of your kids for back-to-school and thank me later. No more sorting socks. No more “orphan” socks. No more socks that aaaaaaaalmost match, but not quite, because the manufacturer hates you and changed one tiny-but-key element to drive you crazy. These socks are i-d-e-n-t-i-c-a-l. If you have a touch of OCD, these socks are your new best friends.

great product and thick socks. not cheap material at all. I am a women's size 6 and i cant stand that these manufactures always group petite feet with large feet people. Dont sell socks that fits 6-10. that is the most ridiculous seizing!!! I got these kid socks because they fit petite feet and that how it should be. if you are an adult that wear 5 to 7 then this will fit.

I originally bought socks for my 2T boy who wears size 5 or 6 shoe (I bought the socks that fit 5 to 8) and they were too small. So then I bought the "boys low cut size 8-11" and they barely fit him. Keeping that in mind, I have 2 daughters who wear 10 or 11 shoes and ordered the "girls low cut 3-10" size. They are way too big and based on the other comments, they likley fit a size 6 adult female shoe. It's nice that they offer free returns, but it's frustrating to go through this process in trying to find the right socks. I can't say anything about the quality yet because this is based on our experience in trying them out of the package.

These seem to be good quality, thick enough, cute colors, sized appropriately. My daughter is almost 6 yrs old, wears either a 9 or 10 (toddler) size. I went with the 9-2.5 size. They are definitely a little big on her, but I figure she'll grow into them. I didn't want to risk getting the smaller size and have her grow out of them in a month or two. I took off a star mainly because I really wish they had anti-slip grips on the bottom. For kids her age it still helps to have those, especially with wood or tile floor (which is most of our house).
