I tired these because I have a metal allergy and have been looking for a cute hoop earring. These are not heavy, and are a perfect sized hoop that is oot too big or too small. They did still irritate my ears unfortunately. These will definitely work for anyone who has very little to no irritation.

I just broke my second one because I yanked it from my ear while combing my hair, but I’ve had that one for almost 2 years and it didn’t tarnish. I love these and I wear them everyday. I've ordered these earrings about 17 times over the last several years in the three different sizes, in gold and rose gold. I love them. They are classy and fun and I always get compliments on them. I wear them boating, beaching, at the pool and they really hold up to all kinds of water. They will tarnish after a while, but that is to be expected, especially a this affordable price point. My PROBLEM with them is, I've had several of the clasps fall out over the years, even when they are brand new. I usually tighten them in order to stay in but sometimes they still fall out. Right now, I have about four perfectly great earrings missing clasps and I'm wondering if the seller could send me some replacements so I can put them in. Please let me know! ... show more

So far the color of the gold is still strong which has been a problem in the past, so the retention of the gold I absolutely love! I also really enjoy how big they are and the shape of them. Great value and I can’t believe how cheap they were compared to the good quality of them!

Some reviews are saying how they’re not the greatest earrings but what do people expect for $9.00?! I’m telling you these earrings are awesome – I have a nickel allergy and it’s very difficult to find good nickel free earrings that don’t look cheap and don’t tarnish or that the gold flakes off of but I’ve had a pair of these for at least six months and they still look like new and I wear them constantly so I’m buying an extra pair in case Amazon runs out. If I could find a good pair of 18-22k gold earrings with nickel free wires I would purchase them but I have never been able to find any and these are amazing for $9.00.
