These are a great size for my thin ear lobes. Not heavy They do not pull my thin ear lobes down. Gold plated , but still shiny, take care of them hopefully they will keep the shine, but for under $10 I would buy another pair of they fade or tarnish just because they are comfortable.

These have a really pretty finish. It looks like my solid 14 karat gold ones in color. (I got the yellow gold-plated ones.) They don't really look good on me though - I'm too fat for these. I think these would look better on a thinner woman with a thinner neck. I wear hoops but the smaller ones and larger ones look better than these medium size ones-these seem to widen my jawline visually-I think they would look better on a longer face instead of my round face. They are sturdy and easy to put in. The backs are metal and fit very securely. My piercings are rather tight and these don't bother me at all - I can wear them for a long time. These are good everyday earrings if they flatter your face. The ones I received are almost a bit long to be really professional though, depending on what you do. I certainly wouldn't wear these to work if I were a daycare or psychiatric worker, or around anyone that might be tempted to pull an earring.
