I love sparkly things but the thought of walking around with what could be a second car/down payment on a house/cruise through the Bahamas on my left finger ring finger just to show off my poor financial choices didn't really sit well with me. If you have the large amount of money for a diamond version of this ring Congrats! but I do not so I picked a Cubic Zirconia instead. I fell in love with Asscher cut stones but finding something in CZ other than a solitaire was a little difficult. I wanted some tiny details to help make my ring feel a little special. I was shocked by how beautiful and affordable this ring appeared to be and, after searching a few other sites, I couldn't find any comparable rings at this price. There were beautiful rings out there but 2-3xs or more (I'm looking at you HSN) expensive but they were silver only, no plating and most importantly no Asscher cut. Some of the reviews on this ring (dull metal, too small, too big, FAKE FAKE FAKE) made me a little anxious that it was way too good to be true. Maybe some people ended up with duds but I was lucky enough to get a high quality ring that looks like I spent a little more than $40 and that will hopefully hold up in it's new life. It isn't a light ring but not as heavy as real diamonds and platinum would be. I wear a 6.5 and felt that the 7 fits a teensy tiny bit loose but, when paired with the second band, it fits perfectly. The center stone feels a little too large for me. Maybe because I'm not ready for the attention this ring will draw. It is appropriately sparkly in the middle and the tiny stones decorating the sides are not quite as shiny. They help make the ring look more "authentic". It felt a little sharp near the top in the inside and some of the posts on the smaller stones are slightly pokey. I couldn't feel them with my fingertips, only when wearing the ring on my finger. I expect it to smooth out over time and it is a very small complaint. Inside the band is stamped 925 (for the silver) and CHINA. I think China is a beautiful country and I eat Chinese food regularly but I don't want China inside my ring. I'm thinking of ways to safely buff off/cover up that area and will post some pictures as soon as I come up with an idea. The platinum on the band is shiny enough. I plan on updating my review to show how the plating holds up while wearing it at a job that involves a lot of soap and water. I have heard of "baking" a CZ to create a bit more warmness in the center stone. I'm not sure if I will attempt this but if you do a search online you can find some before and after pictures as well as some info on how to do it. I may just leave the ring alone for a while and then see how it ages naturally on my hand before exposing it to an oven. Overall I am happy that I purchased this ring. It is exactly what I am looking for and at a unexpectedly low price. I am looking forward to seeing how well it holds up and everyone's reaction to it. UPDATE - 3 years later I've been wearing the main stone ring for 3 years daily and the band daily for 2 years. I accidentally left the main ring in jewelry cleaner for hours on year one and the platinum seems to have been mostly removed. Since then I only clean with dish soap, water, and a soft tooth brush. Because of this the pattern on the bottom of the band is wearing faster than the other (see picture) but oh well, lesson learned. I updated my pictures and my ring now has more of an antique look but still sparkles. It is tough to get the tiny diamonds clean in the band, especially the trio on both sides of the main stone. They are not as sparkly most days. The main stone still shines and and I get compliments at work almost daily. I keep it clean every week to 2 weeks and never baked it. Definitely worth the price and I still love my ring.

I used to own a Jewelry store online. I sold VVS1, VS1 diamonds. I retired from this business in 2003 but still own great quality items that are kept safely in a vault. I decided to give Swarovski CD a try because I want an everyday set to wear without worrying that my good jewelry can get lost. I bought this wedding set. When I received this set (I bought the matching earrings and pendant necklace too), I could not believe my eyes. I was always accustomed to wearing good, expensive jewelry and this set blew me away. When I opened up the box this set took my breath away. The center stone looks just like a VVS1 clarity, D color diamond. Every facet catches the light and it does not look like some see through glassy looking CZ. The quality cut of this Ascher cut stone is so perfect that the light bounces all around the steps around the entire stone and you cannot see through the stone. The quality and workmanship is so high end, that I fell so in love with it. I received the set 3 days ago and wore it to the doctors office because I have a case of tennis elbow. I received compliments from the doctor and the doctors assistant on how beautiful my "diamond ring" is. The wedding band is so dainty and I love the small stones and the delicate detail all around D the entire band. I love the believable size of the stones on the engagement ring. I have long fingers and the stone sizes are not too small and not too large so it is quite believable. As someone who has worked as a professional who once sold fine jewelry I have never see such clean lines, beautiful migraine work and brilliant stones that rival the finest diamonds. This is a very high end look in rhodium plated sterling silver. The Platinum finish caps it so beautifully. I will never tell anyone I am wearing CZ but, I wanted to share here that if you want to replace your old or lost rings with something that looks high end because of the beauty of the design and the fine detail, get this set. It looks beautiful and believable and I never thought I would enjoy the Ascher cut, because I didn't know how well a dispersion of light it had and or how high the refractive index would be. Well, I got it and don't need to measure the fire, refractive index and dispersion, because my eyes are witness to the fire, brilliance and beauty of this set and also because on the first day I wore the set, today, I got compliments and it showed in the delighted wide eyed reactions of these two people. It's stately, elegant design says that I the wearer has fine, discriminating taste in jewelry.

I've had this ring for 6 months. I get lots of compliments on it. What I like about it is the size as I wanted something over 1 ct, the details and antique look, and the price. I love having a beautiful ring that I can wear without the fear of loss, theft, or damage. What I don't like so much is it's not available in half sizes, so 6 was too small and 7 slides around a lot. I have also managed to scratch mine already, and that's with an office job and not wearing it at home. The ring is definitely light weight, so you can tell it's not a the real thing. Overall I would buy it again because it's beautiful for those of us who wanting "stunning" without spending a fortune. I ordered a second in case this one wears out in time.

My husband purchased this for me as a replacement wedding ring because mine had lost all of its stones. We homestead and I cook and bake almost daily. I say all of that to make the point that on first impression I was amazed at its beauty, but slightly concerned about continued wearability. It was beautiful and sparkly, delicate and vintage, but perfectly my style, so I was worried about messing it up with daily wear. After a year of daily wear, it's still as beautiful as the day I opened it. It's comfortable, there are no dings or scratches in the large stone, and, unlike other rings, the metal hasn't worn down or tarnished. All of the stones are still in place, and none are even slightly wiggly. The price was perfect. We didn't want to spend hundreds on a new traditional set that would just get ruined after a while. It was in our budget, yet obviously not gumball machine cheap,which tends to make one doubt the quality. Overall, this ring set has been a dream come true. I can flaunt my girly, sparkly loving side, yet still enjoy the life we've built without worrying about damaging it. I highly recommend this set for costume, replacement wedding sets, or even first time sets. Love it, and if the need arises, I will be purchasing again.

I searched and searched for a ring that didn't look fake, was quality made, and still had the antique look. Everyone can't afford a ring that cost thousands of dollars and this was a great choice, imo. I would have preferred something that was solid sterling silver or white gold, compared to a ring that is plated, but again you'd be paying more money. I don't like big, gaudy rings and this one is just the right size enough to stand out. The sparkle of this ring is exquisite. There was no loose stones and appears to be well made for such a cheap ring. The fine detail of the ring was surprising to me. It doesn't look like some fake jewelry machine ring. It's stamped with .925 and China and the inside of both rings. I've had this ring for a week, worn daily and night, and done just about everything one would do wearing a ring, except wash dishes with it on. It has not turned my finger green. It looks just as good as the first day I received it. It doesn't have much weight to the rings, but I like that, because I can't stand for a ring to droop on my finger when I turn my hand to the side. I ordered a size 7 and I wear a 7, it fits my finger perfectly. Shipping was pretty fast. It arrived to me on the day it stated it would. As I've stated I've only had the ring a week. We will see over time how it stands up, if I need to update my review. I will do so then. All in all, my experience has been pleasurable. The ring is beautiful. I don't think you would be unhappy making this purchase.

This ring set has become her new favorite for both daily and dress up wear! The center setting is not so large as to look "off" either in the ring or on her hand. The antique style is lovely it is also understated just enough that it does not scream "old" but rather for her just "interesting". She has many rings of this type, platinum plated silver, and this set has become her absolute favorite. When I purchased this ring set for her I worried about it just being to busy, but at the same time I wanted a set with more visual interest than some of the very plain bands previously purchased. She wears these daily now and when being worn it does seem old or overly antique-y, it is just really very pretty. She has the full set of rings, earrings and necklace in this style and does where them altogether at the same time. However given the other pieces she has that are from the Amazon Curated Collection and others that are also the platinum plated silver, she often mixes and matches. Given the bright shiny nature of the platinum whether wearing the full set or mixing-and-matching she continues to get rave compliments. Many friends and family have gone out and purchased these after seeing them on her. The platinum plating has proven to be excellent on these pieces specifically. The platinum stays amazingly bright and shiny even when worn daily. So far the durability has been excellent with no dulling or wearing off. I would recommend this set highly, clearly :), to anyone looking for a visually interesting ring set and the whole collection with the same style.

I was looking for a replacement set while my real engagement diamond ring was being worked on. I was drawn to this particular ring for its vintage look and because it has Swarovski cubic zirconia crystals. I figured with the name “Swarovski” it’s got to be top of the line. I also chose this ring for all the great reviews it received. Sad to say I was not as impressed as others were. While it’s a beautiful design, in my opinion it looked very fake. The crystals/cubic zirconia did not “sparkle.” It would only sparkle in sunlight or under direct bright light. It was also very lightweight and had no substance to it. It even made my finger itch on a few occasions so whatever metal it is, it’s not real. I would know this because my skin is very sensitive to artificial metals. It did fit true to size so no need to order up or down. I unfortunately returned it because it is just not worthy enough to be the replacement for the real thing. I guess you get what you pay for.

I purchased this ring as a replacement for my antique platinum engagement ring (was my great grandmother's) and very pricey wedding band. I didn't want to lose the heirloom platinum engagement ring and for some inexplicable reason I became allergic to the white gold of my diamond and sapphire wedding band. I've worked in a retail jewelry store that carried a ring similar to this retailing over $10,000 and I've been wanting a ring like that for nearly a decade. I was so happy to find this one. While there are subtle distinctions between this and a diamond platinum ring, to an untrained eye- it is indistinguishable. The Swarovski scintillation is beautiful, however it does not have the fire a diamond does- but who cares! It's a beauty. It is ridiculous to spend 6 months salary on an engagement ring. It's not the amount of money spent on the ring, it's the quality of the love in the relationship. I've worn this ring for two months- day and night it has not left my finger. I've hand washed dishes, cooked holiday dinners, cleaned bathrooms, bathed, went swimming, chased my toddler (cleaned up after said toddler), worked out- you name it this ring has been through it. With just a little warm water, Dawn dish liquid, and a soft toothbrush- the stones sparkle and the platinum-plating shines. This ring is every bit as beautiful as the day it arrived. I love it. I only have two criticisms for this ring: 1. The prongs are not as tight as they could/should be and they can catch on clothing 2. I wish I could buy another single band. Jan.2020 update: this ring still looks new. After 4 years I've not had any problems. I gently clean it with blue dish soap, a soft bristle toothbrush and warm water. Still sparkling, still getting complements.
